Items can be collected from Fulham (evening) or near Liverpool St (day), or I can post, but you'll have to bare with me until I can get down to the post office.
Please post your dibs on the thread and then follow with PM.Ofmega Mistrel Cranks, 165mm, 144 BCD (on the right) - Dibs Clockwork_killa
Originally a road double, but has been neatly ground down and polished off to run as a single ring. Has a very low q factor (in the mid-130's if I remember correctly). Great condition, with only minor marking to the finish. Square tapers are in perfect condition. Also selling the matching 42t & 53t chainrings further down the page.

After being eaten alive at race training on Monday two weeks ago, my legs are just starting to look normal again.
TEN bites. :(Does anyone know if decent insect repellant works against these? It seems a pain to not to go to the evening sessions just because of some bloody flies.
It'd be ironic if they are actually Blandford flies. I grew up in Blandford and never had a problem.

It's been much faster than that in the past!
I don't like doing a rotation at the end. It's nice when the final session turns into a scratch race and you can give it everything. The rotation never really sped up today, we got stuck behind the slow group on the last lap. Was disappointing.Sprints were good though!

My bike suffers from severe toe overlap (about 5 cm).
I've learned to 'toe up' at slow speed, where you angle your foot as you come to the front of the pedal stroke to raise your toe. Once this becomes instinctive, toe overlap doesn't really affect your riding much at all.I would say if you really like that frame, buy it. You won't notice the overlap once you get used to it. Having a frame that you like/fits you is 1000 x more important.

6pt, I saw you again last night doing this; we gave each other a suspicious nod. I'm on the blue Steve Goff triple triangle.
I'd love to come along but I don't finish work until 19:00 so can't really make it for half 6.
Might just tag on for the last few minutes. I tend to stay out until about 9ish though if anyone fancies staying on longer.
Bastards closed the men's toilets early last night, ran out of drinking water :(
Thirsty rides home in this heat are not fun. -
Can't imagine it would compromise the rim? How deep is the scoring?
I wouldn't go too far with the sanding, just smooth out the majority of the surface. Highly polished isn't a good idea I don't think; most braking surfaces are machined to have slight channels running around the circumference rather than being smooth. -

I rarely see the need to wave. Make a decision and be assertive, people usually get what you are doing pretty quickly, unless they're extremely unobservant.
Worth noting I've kept myself out of trouble a couple of times by disregarding waves and gestures from other people, as a driver, cyclist and ped. A wave doesn't mean their judgement is sound.
