If anyone has a 57/58 pm me -
completely agree with this.
Ebay are very good about finding out shill bidders. I admit I got done for it myself a while ago. I placed a couple of bids on a friends item and somehow they knew and banned my account for good. This is exactly why you should use a snipe - so some greedy prick can't up the bid. - set your maximum bid - set a snipe for 4seconds. if you lose then it's fine -it'll have gone over your maximum (if you're pissed then you didn't set your maximum -tough shit.) you may still get a good deal.

do you know Paul @ http://bikecreche.co.uk/
I know he's working on a similar scheme in Salford... he'd be a good guy to get intouch with.Have you spoken to the police about donated bikes? I know some counties already donate them to schemes -

Seem to have myself a 70.5/71mm BB with One of the cottered cups is stuck in (locknut side)& I'd like to add a Rudge-Whitworth 48t cottered crank I've tried a standard English 68mm - doesn't tighten up fully, and the axle is left loose. the frame is an old 60's/7o-'s Sun Worksop
Any Ideas?? could it be an italian BB?
Cheers

I've acquired... as you do, various bikes & Bits... that could do with going to a worthy cause - nothing of any decent spec, but just would be good for community based projects etc.. I recall there was a group in Whalley Range that did bike maintenance training etc... that took donated bikes??? does anybody know of them or anybody else??
