I believe this belonged to a forum member but I picked it up on ebay a little while ago. The plans are to bring it back to its original 1951 glory but unfortunately money is tight so I have had to steal parts from my other bikes to get it going. Its actually amazing to ride as it is but just feels kind of wrong with those wheels, brake and chainset. The lacquer is cracking off all over the shop but I’m not sure If I have the heart to get it resprayed yet seeing as the paint is original. Any tips on protecting the bare metal spots?

nfortunately I am forced to sell my beloved CDj’s as times are hard at the moment.
They are 800 mk 2’s and are fantastic step up to get you ready for the top of the range cub models 100 mk3/ 2000. They have done everything I have ever needed of them flawlessly. As you can see they are in good condition as they rarely stray from my bedroom, I still have the original boxes in mint condition with the manuals and all of the cables. I also bought a flight case for each of them, so far these have gone pretty much unused but are included in the price.
I’m looking for 700 for the lot. Collection from Bath or Salisbury is preferred as this way you will be able to see them working and play with them until you are content that everything is ship shape. Delivery could be arranged but I would have to get a quote.

So I decided to build a new bike but so far have only been able to afford the wheels. Until I can get myself a frame I thought it might be interesting to put them on my road bike for a little bit. It’s a conversion in the loosest sense of the word as all I had to do was slip the wheels in, the rear dropouts are spaced at 120mm and there were no crank, chain line or BB issues. Considering these wheels aren’t for this bike I’m pretty happy with the way it looks and rides, lovely and smooth.
