I'm using up as much windfall fruit as possible and have done a tarte tatin and now a bitter chocolate and pear tarte, this is a consideration for the sheer amount of fruit I still have after I made chutney from my best friend's allotment windfall this weekend.
I have ready 10 jars of glorious Brixton apple, damson and red onion chutney and Lambeth-produced pear and plum with chili relish.
Bring on Xmas!

Peter Broderick is a 22 year old genius. I had the great priviledge of seeing Bon Iver for the 3rd time at Green Man Festival. My friend Sebastian Edge took his portrait last year at End of the Road sui8ng the 19th C wet collodian glass plate process on ultra-large format hand-built camera..Awesome and ghostly. http://www.flickr.com/photos/darkvan/3882744272/
