I arranged to buy a bike off that seller - when I got there he'd sold it to someone else. Its first come first served with him.
carlton flyer
i arranged with the seller to collect it and pay cash 11 july 2010 between one and two, no quibble on the price. just cycling back from a nice night out and recieve a message from the seller saying "its sold"
i had the chance of collecting it tonight.............. there's a moral in there somewhere.
each time i look at those rear ends i shake my head and say why didnt i collect it tonight.

The bike has actually got the Shimano 600 EX 6207 groupset so the hubs are EX FH-6207 and HB-6207 (This groupset came in just after AX was discontinued). The rims are Super Champion "Rainbow." Front tyre is d'Alessandro Specialissimo, rear Continental Giro. There was some interest in the whole bike which I guess would be best but failing that I will listen to offers to split it up and sell it like that.

In response to John, Hi - this is a 1984 Gentsracer. The Koga-Miyata range went: Fullpro, Proracer, Gentsracer. Superwinner, Roadwinner, Granwinner, Flyer. It has double-butted FM-2 chrom-moly steel tubing and HM-2 Hi-Manga forks. High-end stuff. Looks like delivery to Ireland may be as low as £22 with interparcel depending on the size of box I can get it into. Thanks.

Hiya - In response to question above Moose couldn't make it to look at the ProRacer and undibbed it so its still available. Im a bit unsure if it is actually the 1983 PRO-AM-A professional frameset not the 1981 Pro-Racer as the forks had no blue paint on them when I removed the respray. Having said that there is a "1981 proracer" with chrome forks at http://www.flickr.com/photos/86651438@N00/ - so who knows?
