Looking for a front rack that’ll fit a Genesis Croix de Fer and some Ortlieb Sport Roller bags. Something like the attached photos (Nitto 34F) . I have zero experience with these types of front racks. Aside from this Nitto one, what are some other brands I should look at, please?
Also, are there any rear racks which offer greater heel clearance? I have giant feet.

Thanks for all the replies and info. Useful tips.
Also, a question about Bilt Hamber, either S50 or UB/UC:
Is it included in any long-term comparison tests vs other products? All I can find online is people in forums and on YouTube saying it works, but then ACF-50 has many people saying it works too, but performed poorly in the Bennetts test.So unless I can see some evidence that BH products are better than XCP Rust Blocker, I might go with that.

Have some 531, 653, and 725 frames that I would like to protect.
Has anyone tried this stuff in their frame and fork?
Watching some YouTube comparisons this seems to be one of the best:
https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/279751
https://www.bennetts.co.uk/bikesocial/reviews/products/motorcycle-maintenance-and-servicing/best-rust-corrosion-preventer-inhibitorApparently this is the same as Dinitrol:
https://www.silmid.com/coatings/corrosion-preventatives/Ardrox-AV8-Corrosion-Preventative-in-various-sizes/These also look interesting and seem to have excellent reviews. I guess the S50 or UB would be fine for inside a bike frame (UC is clear, but it's not going to be seen anyway, inside the frame):
https://bilthamber.com/product/dynax-s50/
https://bilthamber.com/product/dynax-ub/
https://bilthamber.com/product/dynax-uc/Also, sorry if this is stupid, but should I remove the headset and BB when applying something like this to the inside of the frame and fork, so it's the bare frame with nothing installed? Or just the BB? And if it is applied to the frame without anything installed, what do you need to do to the BB threads and headtube before greasing them, once the products above are applied? Just put the grease on top? I am guessing that won't work.

You mean another 35? Even with the current Kenda 35s and the SKS mudguards there’s still a bit of rubbing. It’s very tight. I’ll try the 38mm Vredestein Aventura (none of the reviews I read had anything bad to say about them), and then some new guards to fit them. Agree that it’ll be nice to see the difference with how they feel. I’ll try the Kendas until the Vredesteins arrive.

Just got this, and would like to eventually upgrade the wheels to something nicer / stronger.
They're labelled Genesis Sr24. Apparently this is the spec:
Rims: Jalco SR240D / 32h
Hubs: Joytech D341RCC/D342RCC 32h / front / rear / 6-bolt
Spokes: Steel 14gNeed QR hubs, rims suitable for 35 or 38mm tyres, and for a fat guy of about 100kg + some panniers (maybe 15-20kg max). Bike weighs about 13kg in the XL size, complete with the wheels above.
Would this be a nice set-up? Or not strong enough for my weight + bags? I know nothing about tubeless, but I guess these rims can be used with or without tubes.
HED Belgium G, 700c, 32h
DT Swiss Alpine III spokes
Hope Pro 5 Centrelock hubs, 32hOther suggestions welcome. There’s also these, which would be much cheaper, but they only have 24 spokes:

Also related: Shimano XT MT800 rotors, on centrelock hubs, should fit fine with the calipers and frame, assuming they're the same 160mm as the current rotors?

So just to explain a bit more clearly:
I'm not set on upgrading for the 3mm difference, but just for better quality tyres. The Kenda Flintridge Sports it comes with apparently aren't great. I like the look of the Vredestein Aventura, and it comes in 38 or 44, and 44 won't fit, hence 38.
A 40mm would squeeze into this frame but I don't want to risk damaging it, so will try 38. I measured about 1cm clearance either side at the closest point, with the current 35 tyres, so should be about 8.5mm with 38mm.
The other option is the seemingly very popular Schwalbe G-One Allround, which does come in 35mm. Might get that later on - Want to try the Aventura first.
Not interested in modifying the frame in any way, or replacing it. Got a great deal, and would like to use it.
I found some options, although they might be a tight fit (I measured about 60mm space between the seat stays and fork, at the top edge of the tyre, but the Topeak says it needs 70mm):

Thank you for the info :) Yes - Even checking the Schwalbe website I am extremely confused still.
RaceGuard is rated 4, and Tubeless Easy (TLE?), which apparently includes SnakeSkin or MicroSkin, is rated 6. But on that page, in the "TUBELESS EASY" section, click on " Schwalbe G-One Allround" and it mentions nothing about SnakeSkin or MicroSkin on that page - only RaceGuard. So that is very confusing. Anyway, headache.
Leaning towards the Vredestein Aventura, just because the only variants are the size and colour (nice and simple), and I think they look lovely too. I prefer the logos / text on them vs the Schwalbe. Also the tread pattern is prettier, IMO, and doesn't look like an anime monster with 1000 nipples.

I just picked up a Genesis Croix de Fer 20, 2017. It has full length SKS mudguards fitted by the previous owner, and 35mm tyres, but the fit is tight.
I'd like to try some 38mm tyres (probably can't go much wider as it's an older frame) which means I'll have to remove the SKS full mudguards.
What might be some other good options, please, which still allow the full tyre clearance of the frame and fork?
-
Has anyone tried the Vredestein Aventura? The look prettier than the Schwalbe G-One Allround and are only £5 more each. Not many reviews online, but all of the ones I read seem to like them.
Also, can someone please tell me the difference between these? Is it the puncture proof layer? I am stumped. Both seem very popular but I'm just not sure how they differ aside from the price.

SOLD
Cannondale CAAD10 frame set, 58CM. Photos below. Selling as I don't use it, and would like the funds to put towards a touring bike.
Excellent condition with no damage, no dents, never crashed. Long steerer tube (not slammed and cut down). Size should be suitable for someone about 6ft1 to 6ft4. I am 6ft3 and it fits perfectly with a 120mm stem, and could stretch to 130mm.
Includes: Frame and fork, seat post clamp, a nice shiny black Deda Zero 100 seat post (basically new) that perfectly matches the black and white parts of the frame, headset (with large Cannondale cone spacer, but not the small spacers above), rear hanger.
£310 posted or £300 collected from Oxford. Payment via PayPal goods and services. No dibs. Thanks.

In your own words:
"wrong thread imo..
no guards, no lights"Looks like a neon gorilla. Leopard print case lining? Why are the bars so wide and shaped like that? And why (in the link) is the wrap on them held on with green string? And yes, attaching a lens to a bike fork is silly for reasons others have mentioned. Is it called Starfish after the Limp Bizkit album, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water?

Thinking of picking up a secondhand Croix de Fer but it comes with some quite basic wheels - the ones marked "SR24".
What are some of the "best" QR disc wheelsets (not 12mm axel) for that sort of bike? Strong enough for touring / a fat guy. Everything seems to be 12mm these days, but that won't fit.
Saw the Shimano WH-RX830 set - Are they decent? Anything else to consider? And has anyone had any good experiences / issues with the original SR24 set?
