This thread is a waste of time... If it's a fixed/fixed hub (which I doubt), I'll be interested... How many spokes? Etc. Etc.
Can we send this joker back to the nursery? I'll be waiting at the entrance with a flame thrower...What a douche master. Could have used Google to find out the answers to your questions in the time it took you to write that.

Hmm. Well I've only ever worn fingerless, so any full-finger glove which isn't paper thin, or so bulky I can't use anything whilst wearing them, sounds good to me. I reckon they look pretty good.
I would definitely go for the POC ones though, if I had the cash. They just look durable as hell, and got a good write-up in Dirt mag a few months back.

I'd go for either these at £20:

Or these, which look pretty sick, but are damn pricey at £50:

Thanks, Kata. I've seen them and found them really well made. If I need a backpack kinda thing for some reason it will be on my list. I admit, that before it wasn't an issue - I just chucked the flight case in the boot or on the back of our van. More cycling will mean that I need more mobility. Also I need something to fit Nikon D3 in with a lens and it's a struggle. Got myself a small Pentax K-M for cycling around to save space/weight. By the way, how deep is Theo then? Can I lay 6"x6" big camera flat at the bottom (ca. 10" deep with the lens mounted)?
IMO the best camera/camcorder bags are made by Kata, Lowepro and Domke. I have owned all 3 in the past. Peli cases are great, if you have a car or van.
Domke also make inserts, so if you have a bag which you want to divide up and use part of for camera equipment, just buy some of their inserts and put them inside.
