since mdcc_tester haven't responded yet, I'll tell you that bullhorns are the bars designed for lo-pro bikes, and the hand position is pretty much similar to riding drops on a bike with regular geometry. By using stem which would be parallel to the ground, and not squashing it all the way in you could achieve more or less ridable position on tops. IME...

Thanks for the advice. I've got some chopped and flipped drops I could probably use, and I've got a quill stem as well.

I assumed that too, but actually with a 24" front wheel, your much better off with LA84s as you feel like you're falling off the front of the bike with risers... I did anyway! its a pretty extreme riding position, and not great for going up hills, but if you're going for a lo-pro you might as well go the whole hog!

Yeah, I thought that might be a problem. It actually came with two 700c tubs, so the frame is made for two 700c but I think I'll sell them on here, because I'd rather have clinchers for around London.

I wish. I'll probably look out some record stuff. As it's my first lo-pro, I'm guessing the la84s would be quite an extreme riding position for around town.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I picked it up today, and it is really nice. Now I've got to decide what to build it up with. It's got a shimano 600 headset, so I could continue with that, or I might go campy, but I'm not sure yet...

A friend of mine has found a Colnago replica, which the owner claims was made by Van-Paul in Belgium, with Reynolds tubing.

Google and a search on here found nothing, so if anyone has heard of them, my mate would be very grateful if you had some info on them.

I am looking for a full bike for my mate, who needs a 56 cm frame. A road bike with horizontal dropouts would be good, or a fixie/singlespeed would be perfect. He is looking to spend around £200, but more if it needs less work to convert it. In an ideal world, 120 or 126 mm OLN would be cool.

Hi everybody, I'm new here. I am hoping to build a flip-flop free/fixed bike these summer holidays. I will probs post later, asking for advice on stuff.
