Surprised to be reminded that those Z4s are 20 years old. I guess maybe that's not that long in terms of car styling but they've aged really well, preferable to the modern versions.
I saw a guy in a Z3 out and about with the roof down the other day. I remember them being everywhere when they were released but I've not seen one for a while, looked like he was having a blast in it.

I've just got my new BT router from them for renewing my contract. It's (presumably) better than my old one, which was probably 8-10 years old, but it doesn't have a guest wifi network on it anymore. I used to put the TVs, Roku etc on the guest to try to stop them sniffing around too much.
Anyone know if there's a bit of kit I can plug in to provide a guest network without too much faff, or am I stuck with it unless I replace the router (and then the disks I guess)?

Anyone got any more recommendations? I'm going to be looking for someone to fit my kitchen, probably a little tile work as well. We'll likely go to Howdens to get the units, so apparently need a fitter before we go through their design.
I'm in Sheen / Sw14 - any good experiences to pass on from around there?

[removals recommendation].... Roberts and Denny’s were good. Moved us from a 3rd storey flat to a house up a flight of stairs, all in about 7 hours, including dismantling / re-mantling wardrobes etc
Thanks, we went with them - they were excellent. No breakages, well packed, dismantling stuff etc. All really nice guys also. Would recommend to anyone else looking for removers

I meant that they should get it over with now, and let her be their reactionary, irrelevant short term opposition leader for a couple of years. Then maybe they'll be able move forward. Not that I'm the least bit invested in their rehabilitation, I'd rather they disappeared completely.
I wasn't suggesting that they promote her to be the new PM.

They should just rip off the plaster and give it to Badenoch whilst it doesn't matter too much and there's no election coming up.
IIRC they tried to keep Johnson away from the members choice but couldn't in the end; it feels inevitable that Badenoch (or someone of a similar ilk) will get it eventually -
I'm actually slightly tempted by that - assuming it could take TRX4 upgrades (which you'd probably end up getting stuck into at some point anyway, given the example list from @CollinsCycleWorks above)

Through a weird set of circumstance I went to one of those tea parties at Bukingham palace years ago.
When the Queen came out, her people went through the crowd pulling people out for her to say hello to. One guy standing next to me was asked out, but when he mentioned his wife was getting a cup of tea at the bar, the response was "I'm terribly sorry sir, I can't introduce you to the Queen without your partner" and he missed out.
I've literally no idea what the reason for rule is (so can't answer your question). It's clearly something ridiculous that should be binned, but these obligations do exist with heads of state and Starmer isn't going to be able to change them nor want to spend any capital in trying to deal with the inevitable 'snub' headlines that would come his was if his wife didn't come.
She should definitely get a warderobe allowance for them though.

I meant to reply to this a couple of days ago... I've been down the RC crawler rabbit hole a few times, but never pulled the trigger as I know I either wouldn't use one enough, or would end up ragging it like any RC buggy and try to do jumps with it somehow ..
That said, I'm about to move house to near a wood, and you can pick up second hand Axial SCXs (is that what the one in the photo is?) on eBay for reasonable money, so maybe...

I have a great solicitor I'd recommend that I've been using if you're interested. She's nowhere near me, so I don't think that's important.
I spoke to her this morning, I'm pretty sure that she's one of the only source of value for money out of the various people I've hired through the process...
Feel fee to message me if you want details

I had Terra Fi Tevas as my only shoe
Iv'e had a couple of pairs of these over the last five years, and use them most of the time. I did a ten day hike in Norway a few years back, mostly just wearing them as well - the sole is pretty nice / supportive.
That said, I now want some of those clogs as well.. will keep an eye out for a sale somewhere

I like the strip around the outside. I'll be doing the floors soon, so questions.
Do you use that strip to 'square up' the area inside if the room isn't square. This would mean that the stip could be different thicknesses around the room, which might not look right
Do you lay the strip down at a constant thickness around the room, meaning that the herringbones might meet it at different points from one end of the room to the other?

I've just moved into a new house, which has a huge hedge out the front - it's a mixture of a few plants - holly and some other things ( I don't know what they are - just different colours and leaves).
It's about six feet deep and overhangs the pavement by quite a lot. I'd like to cut it back quite heavily to the red line in the picture, but that would mean cutting all the leaves off, as I'd be removing right to the middle, where there's no greenery.
My question - would the green grow back in a reasonable timeframe if I trimmed it back this severely?
