I seem to recall that 'Dale didn't used to file their welds - they welded them differently, something to do with heating the weld up more (or after it was completed) so that the material all sort of flowed into each other... I'm sure that description isn't quite right, but remember it was quite interesting at the time.

Looking for some cheapish brakes to put on my new project.

Pretty relaxed about makes / model, if anyone has anything they want to sell, then do give a shout.

Not particularly helpful but also keep an eye out for an old Azonic dual slalom frame on ebay - horizontal dropouts and very cheap - I picked one up for £30 - looks great after a trip to the powder coaters...
