I have recently come across this frame that I am going to restore but have no clue as to what it could be. Its a super light steel frame. I "rescued" it from a chap with no respect for his bike, as you will see from the pic.
There are some very characteristic features, one of them the lugged rear drops outs (as opposed to the more commeon 'spliced' d/o) and the position of the stays on the seat post lug.
WHICH BIKES WERE MADE WITH LUGGED REAR DROP OUTS?
Please help in creating a list that I could follow up. IF YOU PICS OF SUCH BIKES IT WOULD BE GREAT! -

Not inspired to start until its orderly in there with a bench and all. There are a few other bikes I need to get onto as well. And murphy would have it that after spending all this cash on this colnago; a rather beautiful blue and yellow bataglin (full bike) appeared in the classifieds today. Might break the bank but its the first I've spotted here. Seems to be a must.

Lets make sure that the key point is emphasised here. Thats what exclamation marks are for afterall.
Put yourself in my shoes for a brief second. You have a friend for more than a decade of your life, you share slipstreams, you regard him as your chief riding partner, and when it comes to parting roads in life; the bike that hes not even prepared to take with, is offered to you with no consideration of the fact that youve shared many kilometers. And that someone he doesn't ven know is offered the bike at the same price.
Does nobody understand this yet? A riding buddy system of a decade+ totally devalued.
See...its personal.
This the point.
Lets make it clear the F+F will be mine!
Seems like no one has ever seen another bike with lugged rear drop outs
