But to the OP, if you're gonna buy a decent frame, why put shit parts on it :-/ save your cash. You won't regret it.
Wise words. I was thinking about buying on of these frames a while back as I think they are really nice. But, they should be built up like this:

Thanks people! The bars are level it's just the dodgy picture which makes them look a bit off.
Build list is:
Nagasawa Special 57cm frame - Nakano Red with silver flakeDura Ace 7600 hubs laced to H+Son TB14 rims (32 hole) with Veloflex master 22 tyres.
Dura Ace 7710 Octalink Cranks and BB with Sugino 46 ring
DID - Racing Pro NJS Track Chain
MKS Sylvan Track PedalsNitto - SP72 NJS Seatpost
San Marco/14 Bike Co. Concor saddleNitto - B123 CroMo Drop Bars
Nitto - NJPRO Steel Quill Stem
Hatta swan super deluxe Titanium Headset
Charge Plunger grips -
Well, after 7 months of lusting after this frame I got the ok from my wife to buy it. Gabe at NJS export sent it over and it arrived in just 4 days. I transferred all the components from my old 14 Bike co frame and picked up a slightly longer seatpost as the one I was running was just a little too short.
Apologuise for the crappy iphone shots. It's all I've got right now. First proper ride on it I managed to mangle the front wheel but managed to get it fixed up and rolling again in a few days.
I've not got any plans to add anything to it (no road conversions, racks, spoks etc etc). The seat is a 14 Bike co Concor which is pretty scuffed up, but you can't see it when its being ridden. I know for a proper NJS style build it should have a Kashimax five gold but from what I've heard they are pretty uncomfortable and this bike is for riding and the Concor is a nice little reminder of home too. I might muck around with the gear ratio a bit but we'll see.
It's a really nice bike to ride, really fast and responsive and those tight clearances are what I was looking for. All in all very happy with how it came out.

Apologuise for bumping this ancient thread but Im looking around for some less casual shoes for riding in with clips and straps. From what Ive seen almost all road shoes are made for cleats. Riding with vans and full lycra does look a bit wrong. I spotted this yesterday: http://www.the5thfloor.co.uk/2012/09/11/podium-shoes/
Looks interesting?
I also saw the vittoria 76 cycling shoes which look quite 'vintage'. http://bikesnobnyc.blogspot.com.au/2009/04/bsnyc-product-review-vittoria-1976.html
Basically what Im after is some decent looking road shoes with a rubber base. The only other option from what I can find is an MTB shoe with chunky grips which is abit overkill and probably too grippy if I need to take my foot out of the straps.Does anyway know anything which might fit the bill?

The silver chainring looks great! I think I'd keep the gum(ish) wall tyres though, the black tyres look a bit plain in comparison.
If you do want to swap them though and your budgets tight just wait until winter sets in as the side walls will get covered in that grimy road soup that will turn then a muddy grey colour. Just my 2p worth though. It looks like a great bike to ride.

Slightly off topic but I know a couple of people mentioned it way back in this thread. Does anyone know if Adidas are going to be restocking the Team GB cycling kit?? Its currently going for mental prices on Ebay. It seems like such a shame that they didn't make enough to keep up with the supply? Especially after the stellar perfomance the team put in was obviously going to make it more popular.

Im over in Aus so picking up bits and pieces via a dodgy hacked Iplayer, either that or gritting my teeth and watching Channel Nine's coverage which they fit inbetween ad breaks every 5 minutes.
Did anyone see the Olympic roundup on day one? They managed to break new levels of cluelessness during a round table discussion about the Mens Road race. Dame Kelly Holmes, John McEnroe, Michael Johnson discussing cycling. It really was complete and utter Shite.

TFG is my favorite bike shop. Condor for me is a bit too sterile and just one down from the Evans/Cycle Surgery stable of shops. I know alot of people on here think its great so I guess it's horses for courses.
IMO The gents instore at TFG do a fine job, always helpful and welcoming. Clearly passionate about what they do and willing to go the extra mile for when you need something they don't have or might be a bit tricky to get hold of.
In turbulent economic times such as these its great to see a business succeed, especially one which is run by decent people and is so bloody good.
