I got my Fothergill from Hilary - must say it’s a nice ride, though I’m not selling but assuring you there are a few around.
Also check out http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/builders/fothergill-james.html I believe Hilary might even have written the article. -

Out of interest what are peoples 24 hour Guinness pint record?
Mine is about 18 (I reckon - I lost count) and involved the first pint at about 7.30am at Heathrow airport at continued in Dublin (rugby 6-nations) all day. I had a sneaky snooze for an hour at the back of the pub which was full of Irish and Welsh on the lash.
My mate also had a smoke outside with Neil Kinnock who reckons to this day he was the funniest bloke he has ever met (the numerous pints of guinness though probably helped).
It's sounds alot but when you stretch it out over a day it's not that savage. Some very funny stories emerged from that weekend and we won (the Irish that is).

Check out the coast2coast website. It goes through a few natioanl parks and the Pennines and can be done on a long weekend.
If you can avoid the crappier areas of Newcastle when getting to the East coast then all the better but the fish and chips when you arrive in Whitley Bay taste great. Quite a few varaitions of the trip on the website.

Vietnam is a superb place to visit though Hanoi and HCM City / Saigon can be overwhelming at first but you soon adjust. It seemed to me that the average speed was low comapred to the UK and people more aware of other road users.
Not sure on how many miles you intend to travel and if you want to stick to the main highway (there was only one running north / south when I was there but maybe they have extended this) but the roads / tracks to the more remore towns and villages especially in Central Nam are steep and rough.
Also the local women floating past on there bikes in the local dress / Ao Dai are superb. Some seriosly good lookin girls.
Just watch out for the crazy stuff on display at the War Museum or was the locals call it - The American War Crimes Museum.

Has anyone been taken out by a rampaging deer in Richmond Park yet? Had a close call last year when a young un realised the rest of the family had crossed the road and bolted as I was coming down the hill section at a fairly high rate of knots - little bugger came out of nowhere and hearly clipped me.

I want to use the resistance unit with the rollers and I understand that it doesn't fit the new Antares version.
Also, If anyone has the resistance unit doing nothing I would also be interested.
