Sorry if this is answered somewhere else but do all the hire bikes at HH have approximately the same gearing and if so does anyone know roughly what it is?

I am Jambon - i had it put together in Feb and have just done 4,000km so far and doing LEJOG next week on it so pretty chuffed.

Excuse the crap BB photo but this is the CAAD9 frame I got from Jambon and now built with Centaur groupset and 3T stem and bars. Very pleased with it and rides really well - super comfortable.

I have the tacx Antares and they are good for an hour when it is really wet or icy. Not sure that more expensive ones can do any more - perhaps quieter but I use them in the garage so that's not an issue.

Is the BB italian threaded?

When you were looking at rims did you consider H plus son archetypes?

I was thinking of ordering mack super light road hubs and was considering either the Hed Ardennes or the archetypes?

I have a Campagnolo Daytona group set (centaur before it was so called). Its in a well used but very much working condition though I have put new hoods (hudz version) on the shifters. Set includes ergo shifters, front and rear mech, triple chain-set and front & rear brakes.

Given the condition and the seat post included £170 is the lowest I could let it go for.

As it includes the headset, BB and seat post I couldn't do £150. Would you be collecting? I can bring it into town / work with Bank being the nearest tube.

Oria tubing in go faster yellow and includes the Fausto Coppi seat post.

Some small scratches here and there and the decals have rubbed off on the seat tube and not perfect on the top tube but the frame overall is sound.

Internal brake cable routing on the top tube gives a tidy finish.

£220 delivered in the UK or I can bring into London for collection if easier.

Installing an external bottom bracket for the first time (campaign centaur) on a steel, Italian threaded frame. Instructions recommend the bb has a water training hole. Is this critical?

Also, when it recommends facing the bb shell what does this mean? It obviously has threads for the installation of the original bb.

First full build so any help appreciated.
