One size small (51-55cm) Giro Atmos helmet for sale. I bought this about 3-4 months ago, tried it on and found it was a little too small. I never got around to sending it back and ended up buying another helmet instead.
It's a dark 'sepia' in colour with light blue and orange details at the back. It's as new and boxed. Cost £110 - yours for £85.
Pic here: http://www.patocycles.com/site/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/giro10_atmos_sp.jpg
Or... there might be a handy SJS link nearby...I'm happy to email pics of the actual helmet on request. Will meet in Zone 1 for handover or it can be collected from Dulwich/Herne Hill area.
Also for sale new/unused and in box bottom bracket. Bought in error and found to be too small. Shimano square taper 68 x 110mm. Yours for a tenner.
Also - Cinelli Tempo bars, 42cm, cut down (vertical sections removed). Bit marked but plenty of life left in them. £5.
Any questions... do drop me a line.

Sorry but that is quite slow on the rollers. A time of about 30seconds. Should be about 45 to 50.
Yes, I'm slow atm due to a swollen knee after being knocked off the bike earlier this year. I shouldn't have entered RP at all and spent the following day on strong pain killers. Which was fun.
My cadence isn't great though - I am more of a Jan than a Lance.

Nudged 37.8 mph in the first floor of a pub courtesy of Rollapaluza. SS - not sure, probably only about 25-27 mph on the flat. Geared, top speed currently 52 mph (courtesy of the Cambrian Mountains).
On a regular run in Kent there are some great sections, just a little downhill gradient, where one can barrel along (geared) quite happily around 40 mph+ mark.

@ opiumia - Many thanks. Not cheap, and not efficient. I couldn't run my tv and play a game without a few of them.
Yeah, I guess the problem is finding a way to store the energy produced in a way that you could draw on it later. If you harnessed the energy from turbo-training but could draw on it later to power a light, or stereo or whatever you'd be able to see the results of your labours.
Someone mentioned to me that a guy has been experimenting with harnessing the power from his daily commute - though it involved a heavy battery pack arrangement being attached to the bike. Early days yet but hopefully there will be enough interest in this (and similar ideas) to be able to develop more efficient machinery in due course.

sounds like yesterday was the day to be rear ended by idiots when stopped
+1
The girl roadie next to me at a set of Camberwell New Road lights got shunted by another cyclist. She looked very Stoic and said that she had already behind bumped by a motorbike that morning. She had a 'it's going to be one of those days' look on her face.
Anyway - hope your back heals soon Mr J.

I was involved with this, both the HHV test and the programme. Bloody hard work and I was almost too tired to sleep at the end of the day.
crimsonape - the company 'Electric Pedals' who were involved in the programme sell the rigs that were used on the programme via ebay. So if you fancy powering some of your household gadgets...
winston - seems like a low power output, yeah. Frustratingly, the rigs were apparently only 25% efficient so a shedload of potential power was lost. Also, a lot of people were spinning on very low gears for the first part of the day, not realising that they weren't putting anything into the system.

Also saw some impressive texting whilst driving and talking to a passenger at the same time whilst playing dodge'ems with the potholes on roads the width of the bus.
Some fucker in a saloon car rolled over the stop line next to me on Belgrave Road (near the Denbeigh Street junction) a few days ago. I was waiting at the lights with another cyclist and he started creeping forward. I was just about to knock in his window and ask him WTF when I saw that he was looking down at his phone and was busy texting.
While the lights were green for pedestrians.
I'm afraid to say that I was too gob-smacked by his stupidity to challenge him, then the lights changed and off he zoomed. Still texting probably. Fuckwit.
