Went to the shop to look at the Griffin survivor....thought it was a bit too bulky so went for the Lifeproof....
Great for what it does but a couple of problems mean I will be returning it.
Main one: it doesn't work with headphone remotes etc (so cant take calls when riding)
Might give the Griffin another look... -

Reason for possible purchase was I've started running, and am tracking it via run keeper, but don't do the same for my cycling even though I have strava. So was hoping that one of the movement bands would be able to have the best of both worlds, was also interested in the sleep monitoring aspects of them.
I like the idea of wearable technology but want it to be robust enough for years of use, which none of these seem to be..Meh I'll keep doing what I'm doing I suppose..
My 2cents:
I've had a Jawbone for about 3 weeks now (picked up a 2nd hand one on eBay cheap to see if I liked it).
I bought it mainly for the sleep functions. Works better than any of the sleep apps for the iPhone/android and the silent alarm is actually very pleasant to wake up to. When combined with food logs and activity levels its easy to see what affect these things have on my sleep and how I could improve them.
The actual pedometer tracking is OK...always interesting to have a look at, though agree with Velicio that it may become redundant.
The integration with Strava is a good feature that the other 'bands' do not have and it works well with IFTTT if you are gekky enough to explore that.
If I was buying a new one I would go for the newer Up24 as it syncs over bluetooth, rather than having to plug it in.

So with a move to a new office where I no longer need to carry 2 changes of clothing and a host of other stuff, this bag is becoming a bit too large for my everyday commute.
Possibly the ultimate messenger bag, Scott seems to have thought of most things you could possibly need. The strap system alone is a work of genius!
I'll be sad to see it go but I reckon someone else will get more out of it than I will now. I'm asking for £300 as that seems to be what they go for on the very rare occasions they pop up here.
Collection from Brixton/South London area or Wapping/Tower Hill way.
See the pics below for various views and proof that I have managed to carry everything possible (including a small fridge) in it.

Who else is taking part?
I am.. (my profile)
Anyone up for some spins out in surrey when the weekend weather gets better this month? That or some laps of Richmond Park?
Cheers,
Joe
I'm doing it, and maybe some other challenges will have to do more than just the commute to hit that target I reckon
