Pfft, show-offs :)
Just added both parents and it has gone down to £680 for 2002 Mercedes C180 4 door, stopped going down after adding others. Pretty shocked tbh, seems very reasonable for first year's insurance. Plus there is 17.5% cashback on quidco which knocks a decent bit off. Adrian Flux quoted me £2.5k this morning! >>>>>>>>

How much is peoples' car insurance, if you don't mind me asking? Just been looking at a few quotes online as I will most likely need a car next year. Was quoted £875 for a 1.2 polo, and £1020ish for 1.8l 3 series and C class saloons.
Any good reasons not to go for the BMW or Mercedes? £1k seems like a lot, but its not much more than £875 and doesnt seem too unreasonable for a first car insurance? Please tell me if I am wrong though!

Sounds like an excuse for an intimate (i.e. just me) A/B mince pie group test...
Great, looking forward to a decent group test write-up
Had some Asda ones today, a guy at work brought 24 in, obviously they were a bit meh compared to Gregg's but I still smashed a load, whilst eating these I was reading about mince pies in the Metro. Apparently in medieval times they used to have actual minced meat in there, sounds like a win to me

Yeah, what sumo said, pretty much a decent pub on every street. Roman Bath is built on top of one and you can go down and see it, Pivo has good European lagers and they do steins, Lendal Cellar is a big brick arched place, and loads of traditional English pubs with real ales I can remember the location of but not the name. Try the York Brewery ales, they are made inside the city walls
