Just got this email from Armourtex if anyone is interested in latest prices / info:
Armourtex cycles is now open,we have a fully equipped cycle shop offering spares and our own new custom built bikes, also repair bays with fully trained mechanics that will do everything from a full strip down (for respray) to removal of small parts that you may find difficult i.e.. bottom bracket or head set.
The charges for strip down, service ,Punctures or other repairs to bicycles are available from our shop manager 0208 986 2028.
The powder coating charges are as follows:
We will remove all the old paint, shot blast, prep and mask your frame prior to powder coating.
The prices including vat are as follows Steel frames are £59.25 or £75.25 with a further powder coated Lacquer.
Aluminium prices are slightly more £65.50 and £82.00. We do a few more expensive colours or metallic lacquer which cost more.
Should you require extra components powder coated the same colour as the frame and forks then they will be priced up per item i.e a seat post would be £6.00, if you want additional components in a different colour then the price will be an extra £49 as this is our min charge per colour.
The advantages of having a lacquer coat on the frame are that it will look nicer and be easier to keep clean, the lacquer is also quite hard wearing. You can not have decals put under the lacquer coat as this also requires heat to cure.
The turn around times for steel frames is usually 3 working days, Aluminium frames are 5 days. there is no need to phone and pre book, just come to our reception any time Monday to Friday am to pm, or on a Saturday 10am to 4pm.
Further information and an RAL colour chart can be found on our web site www.armourtexltd.co.uk . We do not stock all RAL colours but our range is quite extensive and we have samples on display in our cycle shop to help you with your colour selection.
You can send your frame to us with all instructions and contact details we will return your frame by courier once paid for in full. (courier charges to most uk locations are currently £20 +vat)

Just taken these off my bike, have seen about 150 miles in total.
Excellent condition, look pretty much new.
Mavic 36h Open Sport rims
Sturmey Archer hubs - rear is 5 Spd SRF5 (W) with 17T cog
Kenda KWest 25c tyres
Supplied with downtube gear shifter, you could get a bracket to mount the shifter on the bars or just get a different shifter.Literally ready to put on someones bike. Tubes, bolts, cable included.
I have no idea how much these are worth, I know the rear hub retails at about £130 new so I would say £120 for the complete wheelset sounds good to me.
They would be great on anyones bike if you live in a hilly area or maybe on a bike for the mrs if she doesnt want to have a derailleur setup.
Will upload some photos tomorrow.I'm based in Brighton, don't mind posting at cost or I can bring them to London for the price of the train ticket (probably cheaper than posting)
Will also make a donation to the forum.

Transparency is key I feel.
Whenver I sell something here I go out of my way to get the best photos possible, detail any faults, scratches etc, and if there is anything missing (eg wheelnuts, lockring, a screw) so everyone knows exactly where they stand.
To me the missing wheelnuts is annoying, are these wheels the Miche Pistards listed with that lopro frame?
if that's the case, I'm not surprised, the guy was a chancer and I wouldn't have been dealing with him in the first place.
No this isnt the same seller. I got a reply apologising and saying I could have a full refund if I posted them back to which I replied:
I don't really want to send them back. Thats going to cost me money and then you have to go through the hassle to sell them again.
I'm happy with them. I just thought it was worth pointing out that maybe they weren't as good to go as you said / I thought.
I'm going to get a tube and some wheelnuts from the LBS today. It's probably only going to cost me £5-£6 max. Do you fancy covering the cost of those? Thats a much better situation.
I will see what he says.

'Good to go' is a difficult term to define, you might have meant ready to be fitted and used as Ed suggests, he might have meant they didn't need truing or new spokes or anything, unless you asked specifically it's not a given.
But precisely because of the vague nature of the term 'good to go' maybe he should have mentioned the wheel nuts and tube.
I wouldn't say either of you is being a dick (and I wouldn't say it's enough to warrant the seller being labelled a bad trader by any means), it just sounds like a misunderstanding.
Thats why I thought I would ask instead of being "THIS GUY IS A DICK ETC ETC".
I will wait and he see what he says, he might be nice and give me a couple of quid back to cover nuts/tube.

A bit of advice if you please.
Bought some complete wheels with tires off here a week or so ago and they arrived today. The wheels are great, pretty much as described but I asked the seller if they were good to go, i.e. just pump the tires up and thats me.
Hey said yep, good to go.
They are missing the wheel nuts, only one of them has an inner tube in them and because they are 'aero' i'm guessing I need a valve extender? The front wheel looks like it has an extender.
Now am I just being a bit shit as I got a good bargain or am I right to moan to the seller that they are not 'good to go'?
I've already sent him a message stating the above, I am just wondering if I am being a bit of a dick by moaning about it.
Update* I just looked at the photo he posted of the wheels and they have no wheel nuts and missing a tube so I guess it's down to me clarifying what good to go actually means.
