Did anyone see that red Gazelle Champion Mondiale that was locked up for ages near Waitrose on Western Road? It gradually got raped of parts until just the frame was left, then the council came and put the removal notice on it and it went a couple of days later in the night. I was fucking gutted, it was beautiful, but I couldn't crack the lock... Ahem.
I even left a note on it for the guy before it was robbed of everything, saying that if he wanted to sell it ever then I'd have it. He wrote back saying no but thanks. When I wrote back, post-vultures, to enquire if I could have the frame, he never replied.
I hope its gone to a good home and not just been carted off by the council landfill team.
Yeah I had my eye on this for a while as well, as soon as the front wheel vanished I knew it was a goner. It looked pretty small.

Couple of things for sale. Dibs first then PM.
Based in Brighton, will be in Hackney/Central/Camden Wednesday or can post at cost (UK only).
Campagnolo Chorus Aero Post 27.0 SOLD
Miche 48T 1/8 135 BCD Track Chainring £5
This is new, never used. It has some unfinished machining to one of the cut outs but it is hardly noticeable on the outside of the ring (see photos). This fits some of the older Campag road cranks if you have converted to SS/fixed.

So an update of sorts:
Frame is with Armourtex getting painted this week and I have slowly been amassing various parts. Have to say they were awesome when I took it in customer service wise.
Thanks to anyone from the forum who I have got bits and bobs from.
So here are some of the things I have gathered so far:
Now with the bike being an italian frame I have tried to keep with that theme as much as possible and this is where I need to make a decision.
I have this lovely Nitto stem and a set of Shimano Exage levers. Should I get rid of these and get a nice Cinelli stem and a set of Campag aero levers?
I'm still looking to get the following bits:
Bars - thinking campione del mondo but its hard to find the exact set that I want - 66-44 polished with single grooves and a 26mm clamp (this might change if I sell the stem).
Bottom Bracket - need to work out chainline before I get this.
Tyres - probably going to go for Conti's
Need to get the wheels built up (Cheesecake is going to sort this) and the seatpost polished up.

thought about it...but will they really care?
Any way to ebay bomb him and leave negative feedback without screwing over my own account? How about you ask him a question from the link inside the auction asking if there has been any structural damage, dents etc or has the bike ever been in a crash.
If he is feeling honest about then he will respond to the question and add the answer into the listing, if not then he is a douche.

Without sounding like a cock it's his own fault really. It was there for months, he could have done something about it when the front wheel got nicked or when the council put a tag on it.
