I knew before reading this thread either Vai or Satriani would be mentioned. I used to enjoy that sort of thing, Petrucci and Satch ripping every single note out of thier guitars in 0.4 seconds but it gets old too fast. These days, I much prefer the guitar work of Robert Smith, Yawning Man, Sonic Youth, MBV, Slint etc, doesn't have to be sweep picking to be talented :)

My ex's bmx. Eurrggh. I even told him at the time when we was living together NOT TO!
That is vile, it baffles me that some people have no idea about colour palettes :(
The only way he could justify having that setup is if he was employed as one of these:http://www.tonybones.com/kids_parties/images/Clown-Master.jpg

Dante, you might want to post a wanted thread about a 24.8mm seatpost and enquire about the BB. Im pretty sure there will be someone out there to help you or done this kind of restoration/rebuild?
Will do!
If you can get your hands on a 25.0 seatpost, try shoving that in.
..and by the looks of it you need a French-threaded bottom bracket.
A guy in work tells me there is a local bike 'dipping' shop that also do frame building/adjusting so they may be able to whip off 0.2mm for me, also I will be visiting a re-cycle shop to see if they have any odd sized posts in the bits bins.
Last resort might have to be shoving it in, I'd rather not get to that point though.

'Oh, he/she/it's alright in him/her/it self' - A co-worker of mine uses this too much, I have to pick up on it everytime or it bothers me.
The old Give Blood advert, with the lady.. 'loik you know, loik... loik fucking loik'. I made the tough decision to go back to education and now I'm stuck in University with every second person (regardless of what part of the UK they are from) speaking like a cross between the Clueless cast and the Give Blood lady - 'Looooiiikk ohmagod, looooik totally ya ya!' some of these people are actually Welsh before Uni then within the first week could pass as somebody from Cheltenham. Nothing will ever infuriate me more than this type of person.
Finally, the word 'Random'. I only use it if I have no other option, ^ That person will use it to describe every daily activity and it has (in my circle of friends) become a point of disgust.

everyone moans about how low end the tubing is, i had one for a year and the bike was very strong and it served me well with no problems.
Do you have any pictures of yours? Did you buy your frame separate or a complete bike? Just curious about how you have interpreted the Peugeot, I was having a look at old catalogue pictures 60's 70's and 80's and I'm looking to get a nice vintage look if possible.

Speaking of which has anyone see Moon yet? Considering seeing this, reviews are gooood
Saw it Friday, I really enjoyed it! Several people left midway through but if you are into your sci-fi and don't mind there not being aliens or monsters, you should love it. Some cracking landscape shots, and a massive obvious reference to HAL from 2001, Sam Rockwell is also pretty good in it, I've hated him in every other film. I read that the storyline (Helium-3) interested NASA enough for them to request a special viewing for the scientists.

I've got a Peugeot (carbolite) '85/'86 frame winging its way to me sometime this week, already been told by somebody it's a bad production of frames (carbolite) ? but I like it, it's a perfect size and I only paid £40 for it so I'll be looting my Dawes* for pretty much everything, even that damn Brooks and selling off the frame to a friend.

blue wkd.
A friend once showed me her poo (it was safely in the toilet) after a night of drinking that stuff, you can actually see a distinct colour shift from when the person starts drinking it to when they finish. Amazing.
I love my new Mamiya RB67 that was waiting at the top of my stairs when I got home an hour ago, I'm gonna have to employ a gang of midgets just to carry it for me.
