pedals to Jim. Yes they are fine to use. I'd have to ask catboy if he needs the 11t cog. You see it's on the end of the spacers and usable cog to make sure the shimano lockring stays on! Without it, there is the risk that the lockring slips over the spacer rings.

The Cog was a whim anyway, not important! Happy with just the pedals.

okay how that is an argument? we're talking about cycling, not motorised transport.

Just highlights that people don't always necessarily do the thing that's easiest, just the thing they want to do.

I like the fact that when I watch this, I can tell that they'll do much, much better on a geared bike and a lots faster (with brakes too).

They'd also be much faster on a motorbike, in a car or in an aeroplane.
