wussup brickman, The drive gear spring has broken in the lens which makes it unmountable and the aperture blades dont open. I have a passion for making pinhole camera's from odd bits i find, and i was toying with the idea of stripping the lens down and turning the lens into a camera, and using the blades as masks. But will be very sad to see it ripped apart.
The r3m is very dashing! Some leica owners see it as a silly copycat which is rather silly in it self. The voigtlander seems to have the lead so i may go for it. Maybe from ffordes. Glass always comes first, thats where the quality is. And the fact their both M mount is great.
Ah yes i remember looking at that the other day, The R-D1. Its very nice, seems like a good option compared to investing into a m9!
I love bronica's, so easy to use and simple. Partly the reason why i getting rid of my hass. Opting for the Etrsi. I never had a chance to use the 645rf, whats it like? I have got my hands on the fuji equivalent, its seemed very plasticy but that lens!..so damm sharp! Have you had a go with the voigtlander bessa iii?

Camera's are getting on my nerves. Plus all this digital shite thats going on now, makes everyone a photographer. Anywayyyy.
In the very near future i will be selling off
1x pentax with a nifty 50mm
1x Hassleblad 500cm body. inc Waist level vf and focusing screen - op/tec neck strap
1x Zeiss 80mm C planar. Broken (for parts or repair)
1x Canon 580ex ii flash gunand some other stuff. The point is Ive been trying to save up from a rf but my bike build got in the way as well as other stuff. I am planning to sell off some of my kit to get something. But what??
For a long time now, I have been playing with the idea of going with the leica but the price and the fact that i wear glasses most of the time doesn't help. So I looked into the Voigtlander R3m. The price is great, outstanding in fact, when compared to the leica m6.
But you get what you pay for. Im finding it hard to choose the right one.
Ive played with the m6 and the m9 but not r3m as yet. But i no if i decided to go down the voightlander path i will always be thinking about a leica....Some pictures from turkey. Pentax k1000.

Evening all,
Im currently rebuilding my Cannondale 3.0 crit, with the stock alu fork. Im switching out the pretty old headset it came with and im wanting to get a new one. I measured up everything and it came up to 1-1/4". Could someone point me in the right direction as i couldn't find anything anywhere. I understand ChrisKing do the Evolution, would this be the only opinion.

Thats massiveo! I dont have much experience film(moving). But i did get my hands on one of them bolex's a couple of months ago and they are heavy enough for me. But a joy to use never the less. It just a massive hasselblad to be honest.
Heres some digital street stuff i did in Berlin last year.

This isn't related to cycling but last year I was testing for my second degree black belt.
A belly full of butterflies and paste on a winters morning, standing in a cold gymnasium hall. Water breaks were not permitted unless stated, so we all took in a reasonable amount. 3 hours into the testing and after numerous agonising methods of testing as well memory tests...I hit the 'wall'. My legs felt like jelly, my mind was blank and the dizziness was uncontrollable. I couldn't carry on my task. Seeing me in this state the instructor thankfully gave us all a waterbreak, not to single me out. At the first sip the room span out of control and I blacked out for about 3 seconds. After a fair amount orange juice and those energy bars, I was back on the mats and was awarded my second degree black belt the following week.
Metal prep is key with anything which calls on endurance.

Ah yes this isolette i picked up had vinyl bellows but was in pretty good condition. If i see one to hand i may pick it up and just bump it down to aperture uk, they love that stuff. ah the bessa III is one of my dream cameras, along with it plastic partner the fuji Gw690ii.
I havent had and experience using slide film as of yet, i mainly just shot in black and white, tmax. Post up when you have the developed, looking forward to the outcome. Their very pretty camera's also.
Thank you very much, yep they where direct positive prints. Im currently making a new pinhole with a canon mount and adjustable pinhole lens as well so i will share the results when im done making it.
Loving this one 'Port > Law - Palace de Justice' how was the climb down? -
I had a play with a very early Agfa Isolette in a market in turkey was very nice, i should have made a purchase really its lovely. Have you put any film through it yet Brickman?
While i was in turkey i did some street work, have a look. Im also (slowly) trying to save up for a voigtlander r3m and a mamiya 645 pro. As my hasselblad and lens has broken on me.....im fed up with so im mamiya.
Heres my flickr to view bigger.
