8500mAh per cell that cost $8 to replace, doesn't sound appealing whether a batterypack of the same mAh is smaller aand can be charged anywhere with a plug.
Thats the point though, with this you can be 'off grid', not relying on solar etc
The cost of the cells is unclear as it mentions that they can be 'recharged' by the user -
I was searching around for a power solution for the increasing number of gadgets I seem to have accumulated and came across this Hydrogen Reactor, not available until next year. Will be interesting to see final specs and price

An alternative to Hennesy hammocks is DD Hammocks who also do basic tarps.
Lightweight tarps can also be sourced from Alpkit.I would be concerned about finding correctly spaced trees (or whatever) if relying on a hammock.
A tarp strung from an upturned bike could be a good solution for the night but would mean unloading the bike each night -

Save a few hundred grams and a few bucks (if you haven't purchased already).
Or save even more and just get a Thermarest trekker lounge.http://www.mec.ca/product/5027-958/alite-designs-monarch-chair/?f=10&q=chair
It appears to only have two legs!

York Mosque praised for offering EDL protesters tea
"A mosque has been praised for serving tea and biscuits to English Defence League supporters after the far-right group arranged a demonstration there.
About six people turned up to protest at the mosque in Bull Lane, York, on Sunday and were invited inside to play football with worshippers." -

Airtime, I have only done it at a very leisurely pace, leaving the pub after dark and arriving after dawn. Spending a good amount of time at the stops, (Sit down eating etc)
Some people obviously go faster, I have been passed by fast chain gangs. I have also seen people cycling back towards Bristol when I still had 30 odd miles to go.
I do not know what time the tea stops open.
Exmouth has good train connection back into Exeter for the main line or its only 10 or so miles along a fairly good cycle route to Exeter train station
