I really like Opera, it's fast, simple, intuitive to me and comes with most of the stuff I have to 'addon' to FF at the expense of processing and memory like adblocking, torrent client, email client, mouse gestures, spell check, syncing that works, etc.
Saying that though, on my better spec'd machine I'm finding myself using FF more and more once I've finally got it set up how I like.
Can't get on with Chrome, despite repeated attempts to get into it's knickers.
Opera Mini on my mobile generally, but the native browser on my current SE Elm isn't too bad for quick googlin'/pub quiz cheatin'.

Why?! There's no way they can break into a market whereby you can pick up bikes from the local junkies for €10 a pop. These very same bikes can be taken back to the UK and sold for a couple of hundred quid to discerning riders of quality antique bikes. Funny they should attempt it the other way around - take poorly made shit heaps, ramp the price and try a sell snow to Eskimos.

Heard this earlier on this morning and I thought that some of you lot may well find it interesting listening.
First segment of the programme, from about 1:05 onwards, concerning the 6/7 female cyclist's deaths on London's roads this year and why. Families of deceased, road safety people, and fellow cyclists join the debate.

Hmmm gas hill would that be possible in 42/16?
Technically, yes (I remember some nuts kid doing it on a BMX when I was about 13).
Hah! I used to ride up that hill all the time on various lil' beemers in the mid-nineties: chrome framed Raleigh Burners, some oval 4130 tubed Peugeot, S&M Dirtbikes, Wifebeaters, Schwinn jobbies. Was always a proof to self type hill when I was 12-16yo, after a couple of times up it became quite a comfortable(pfft...) ascent especially with 42-16 on 20" wheels. It used to be the first challenge before hitting the few bomb holes and trails in Mousehold Woods.
Happy days, thanks for reminding me.

And as an apology and a return to the apparent '87ish vibe of this thread:
YouTube - Sterling Void & Paris Brightledge - It's All Right
One of my favourite ever house tunes^^^ -
What a gorgeous thread, truly. Sorry these are a bit newer, also don't know if reposts, but:
YouTube - Guillaume & The Coutu Dumonts - I Was On My Way To Hell
Also on a newer-ish acid flavour:
YouTube - Larry Heard Pres. Mr White - The Sun Can't Compare
And something enirely different, but equally epic:
YouTube - Booka Shade - Control Me
They have a full instrumental version of this on their mixed second CD of the album that I prefer, but youtube isn't forthcoming. -
