46x15 would be fine for the novice session. 46x14's a good race gear, but probably too big for novice session. it also depends on your pedaling style.
Just borrow any drop bars that fits your stem from a friend for the first session.
nitto's are pretty over priced in UK for what they are, and unless you are a sprinter/weight lifter, you don't need steel bars.
don't worry too much about gears in the beginning, you don't even know if you like it yet. once you know a bit more, you'll be able to make much wiser decisions. -

It was a well organised good session today. I was suffering from chesty coughs I seem to always get at the end of cold, and found sprinting really hard and tiring.
I had my normal race gear(90") on and found it too big for the session today, except when we did that pursuit thing which I enjoyed the most. -

lovely - do you think chrome and paint sorting out it essential? looks great but worried it will need a respray and put me over budget for girlfriend build
p.s you got some honjos for sale too?
keen eyes... :) honjos are not for sale.
chrome's got some surface rust and paint is chipped in few places. you can use it as is for a while, but will eventually need a respray.

I have an old moulton frame, fork and rear rack rattlecan sprayed green with cream forks. 1st generation model with slender rear forks. My GF used to ride it a long time ago, but it's been taken down to pieces and taking up space in our flat. frame's probably only good for spares as the BB thread is stripped, but it comes with threadless BB so usable as is. suspension rubbers are still fine, and pivot bolt was serviced and replaced 6 years ago.
will take some photos if anyone's interested.
Collection from Forest Hill SE23 only. -

@ y-s
i might be interested in one of those frames, im looking for a build for my g/f
do you have anymore???These were my g/f's bikes, and since she's got two lovely custom bikes now it's very unlikely she'll sell either of them for a very long time. :)
Zullo is a very tight bike with clearance for narrow tyres only. 39cm chainstay, so
max 23, but won't take tall tyres. tyres like Vittoria open corsa are fine, but thick rubbered tall ones would rub the seat tube.Harrier is a lot more relaxed touring bike with fairly long wheel base and stable ride.
I can send you more images if anyone wants. -

Thanks...it's last year's license though and I got the new one last Saturday. I seem to always do first few races with an old license, mainly because I'm too lazy to pick the new one up from Brixton Cycles...
