On the XS you can just get 32mm marathons in the back with guards, but the wheel has to be right at the back of the dropout. With longer stays, I can't imagine it'd be as much of a problem.

I've picked up an old Falcon, which is in reasonable shape excepting the rear wheel which is sadly somewhat past saving.

Does anyone have a 27" 5-speed clincher kicking around? Can pick up near SW7 or Paddington (or further afield with a little notice).
