^ I don't believe it is the ISIS flag. There are many black flags with quranic verses in white. According to another news report on TV, it is a verse from the quran calling for 'community'. The locals interviewed said they didn't agree with ISIS as they were killing other muslims. Effectively going against the message in the flag.

Also the Union Jack was used by the NF for many years, not illegal, just a shame.

No, that isn't a consequence of a "human shield", it is indiscriminate weapons of mass destruction--- All Palestinians alike-- all in harms way.

My question however is this: why don't Hamas stop firing rockets? They're achieving nothing and provide the Israeli regime with an excuse to fuck Palestine over completely. If it was seen to be the one-sided aggressive occupation that it clearly is, surely Israel's allies would be forced to hold them accountable to some extent.

The moral or ethical argument is: Hamas is using them as human shields and/or they (civilians) have been warned they are going to be bombarded, so should leave (to UN buildings perhaps? Oh.).

The human shield argument has been dismissed by many journalists. Even if true, all it says is fuck you. I don't believe that represents a moral or ethical argument to continue.

Or if you take the more extreme view of some - there are no civilians (a view held by some in Knesset).

That view also extends to children? We are doomed.

For the record I don't give a shit about the 'history'. Pretty much every nation has done some really nasty stuff. It doesn't give license to continue now.
