I can absolutely believe it was good, thats a great polish alu ride - but I am sure you'd enjoy it a bit more if you had correctly sized 650c front wheel/fork fitted:)
I bought the frame / forks / headset as a whole and knew nothing about the proper gear... it took me ages to find out anything about the frame at all let alone correct forks.

Hi all,
Thought I'd offer this to the forum before I eBay it as it'll probably get better use, as I mostly ride a road bike these days.
I need some space (and some money) so reluctantly getting rid of my Ellsworth 58cm track frame & forks. It'll come with BB, Campag headset, Campag seat clamp only - not the other bits in the photo.
It's this, but the person that had it before me sprayed it black: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-WyMeoQk2N5M/T2TblCeOjRI/AAAAAAADOFM/InIT1yn7SxY/s1600/IMG_0185.JPG
This is the actual frame:
There's a couple of minor paint scrubs but otherwise perfect - it's only been ridden in 3 month spurts and hasn't been ridden for well over a year and a half. One very minor dint in the top tube but you can't even see it.
One thing - the LHS crank arm is threaded and I can't get it off the BB. Just need to take it to my local bike shop to see if they can do it, otherwise it's all good. I'll sell it with the stem - do whatever you want with that, it makes transportation a bit easier if I keep it on!
I'm open to offers so anyone that's interested give me a shout. Can collect from Hackey Wick or I can drop off most places in East for free.
Any questions I'll try and answer them! Cheers. I'll try and take some proper pictures later.

My current project, Ellsworth track frame (no more info than that, can't find anything anywhere).
Still a few bits to order and chucked my old velocities on for now until I decide what to do, still need to scrub off those stickers when I fancy making my fingers bleed. First real build for me from the ground up, and still a few niggles to sort out. Rides really nicely though.

Hello, relatively new here (I think the only thing I've posted is in the stolen thread, unfortunately).
Anyway, did a quick one day conversion on this Raleigh for my daily rider until I get my insurance money through. Nothing special and the gear ratio is a bit ridiculous at the moment, but it gets me to work and cost pittence.

It's disgusting. For people that just want a high quality lock, most people would just go out and buy something with a gold mark. You don't think anything of it if you don't read reviews, you just assume it's all fine.
Learn something new every day, will certainly pay more attention to the next one.

It wasn't this one was it? - http://www.bikeradar.com/commuting/gear/category/accessories/locks/product/plus-110cm-armoured-cable-16469
I'd love to say no... but yes. I guess that's why then. Fooled by the girth and the weight of a baby, and a shiny sticker that says GOLD. More pissed off at myself than the numbnuts that nicked it now!!

Gold rated big motherfucking Magnum Plus lock through the frame and back wheel. Thought I was risking the front wheel but turns out they whipped the whole thing away pretty rapidly. I will pay a little reward if anyone tracks down the thing, like I said not hugely attached but it was my first ever fixed gear and pretty much what gets me to work every day.

As much as I hate this to be my second (or third) post, it is.
I've only been riding fixed for a couple of months but some pikey wanker nicked my charge plug racer tonight from Whitecross street in east. You can't really miss it - lime green Dia compe Gran SS on the rear wheel, set of chopped down risers on the front with green grips and a green front brake cable. It's insured so I'm not hugely gutted, but it was locked down with a serious bit of kit. If I see anyone riding it - you are getting a flying kick to the face, whether you have the internet or not.
On that note - anyone selling a 54-56cm fixie - drop me a line. Need something to get me to work next week or I'll go mad.
Cheers in advance.
