Pressed lugs are formed by shaping a flat sheet so they will have no variation of thickness and if they are really cheap you can see a welded seam.

those arrows on the frame point backwards. they will slow you down.
Actually the arrows point both ways, the negative space between the backwards arrows make forward arrows in an escheresque manner.
So the motion cancelling potential of the arrows acting in both directions means that the bike will be caught in a motionless parodox.
At least that is my conclusion. -

It is very nice indeed, the way the point of the lug follows the contour of the seatpost which is inserted at the optimally aesthetically pleasing level is very very pretty.
