i remember those from the 80s. They were the coolest thing going for a while, mine eventually decayed and started to leave little black bits on my hands but before that they were cool.
still, you shouldn't be getting numb hands so something isn't right with your position. Cyclefit's expensive personally I've always had luck with the mechanic's at the lbs. Failing that there's bound to be something online about position that could help :)Thanks man. The problem has almost gone. These 'afro' grips have worked a treat and i've switched back to risers. Was getting kind of worried for a minute. I have noticed my left hand is still considerably weaker than it once was.

I'd love to hear your reasons behind both these statements.
"Might as well get a motorbike"...what, because a carbon bike with tri-bars, a GPS, lights, and internal routing is the same as owning a motorbike yeah?
Back up your statements with some knowledge, i'd love to hear it.Actually i should have quoted this. Jesus Christ!

I'm still waiting for someone to explain which parts are a lot of faff? It has brake cables, gear cables, tri bars, gps, and lights...pretty standard for a distance TT bike...so which bit is so much faff that the next step is a motorbike? anyone?
Chill the fuck out Dude.
Fleeting comment. I call every fucking bike that has more than one brake a fucking Transformer bike. Don't mean i actually think it's a Transformer. I'm sure most on here enjoy the simplicity of a stripped bike and a spot of banter.Je
