I'm just putting the feelers out for my 853 Donohue track frame and fork, I'm not sure what its worth so some advice on the price or sensible offers please. Measurements are 595mm ctt seat tube and 580mm ctc top tube. Condition is good, some light pitting in places. Paint around the bb shell has flaked off but the shell it's self is fine. A very slight dink in the top tube, you have to look pretty hard to see it.

Thanks for the help. Found one at lbs, mega pricey but I needed it asap. I was hoping someone had one lying around. Look fork is now in the bin and so will the headset, anyone got a 1" Ahead headset lying around that I can collect tonight?

Anyone got a 1" carbon bung/compressor for a carbon steerer tube? I'm desperate and will do anything for one, ANYTHING!

Whats happening Thursday night then, list looks long and team games look like they might dominate later. Room for a little'n?

Can we send out text to those we're waiting for, the red letter/we'll brake your legs type? It's important people say what they want/think and act to contribute otherwise there's no point including them in future meetings and the like.

Has anyone asked Emma or are we relying on her checking the forum?

So I would like:

• Identity. (I'm making this number 1. because its going to help 2. which is the most important for me) Which should included website/forum/merch...
  
• At least double our numbers. Loads of ways of doing this flyers targeting 'riders' you can tell them a mile off if you know what to look for.
  
• Better polo for your level of ability e.g. team nights/top players only, training/bike, skills/fitness, newbies sessions.
  
• Better social scene e.g. spending time in the pub, workshops, film nights, interaction with other cycling groups and other polo cities like Cambridge and Bristol.
  
  
  
  

Think we need to go back to grass routes. Maybe lay off things like holding a tourney until we establish ourselves better, seems daft saying that considering we've been about for so long but just approach it like we're almost starting from scratch, get it back to the good old days.
Not sure what skills I can offer but i guess coaching/criticising would be one, I'm sure there's loads others too but I'll think, need to post this now or I'll never get it done...

Ha, well lets get a short list of people and a list of roles that need filling. Or if its agreed, Neil should form the steering group, as lets face it he will be doing a lot of the behind the scenes work non of us have a clue about plus he'd have to work closely with the people of that group.
I'm sure there are plenty of opportunities too for people who don't make 'the group' to help towards the bigger picture and just look at London, you don't even have to be that good at polo to a massive part in it.

Scene the light

I will be totally honest, It seems like everyone is happy to let the months/years roll by without mentioning or contributing to our online presence, yet as soon as someone does there is an instant feeling animosity/conflicting ideas etc. I really dont want that to happen and am only trying to help, figured new year new start etc see what interest we can drum up

This is why I'm calling a meeting Ste, so that we all work together on it and the scene. I'm happy for Emyr to have a bash at the website but i'd like to see it get done this time.
I'll hold my hands up to taking a back seat in the past, I've been here the longest and contributed the least, so I want to make sure we all come together without any animosity, just forget the failed attempts, move on and get mcr polo buzzing again.

I think fair enough cream are going, they came 4th in the series.
Il be slightly annoyed that teams that didn't perform well in the series but have big characters in the team etc will still be going, but not surprised
