What about those ones that look like a newer version of the salmon profils. Sure someone had a pair they picked up at condor.... Curanas?
Avoid these 'guards, they only have one horizontal support for the rear and this coupled with a plastic brake bridge mount means they have a tendency to move up and down on bumps creating and loud slapping noise as the metal hits the rear tyre. They can also bend easily as they are thin aluminum and it is nigh on impossible to get them back into shape once they are bent. (Speaking from experience having owned a set for 2 years) would not buy again, chromoplastics are your best bet although aesthetically 'challenged'...

I like the new ladies' baselayers - about time too! http://www.rapha.cc/womens-long-sleeve-baselayer
Embers merino baselayer is 18.5 Microns apposed to Rapha's 18.9 so tell me exactly what the £20 extra gets you...?
