Creaky, undersized bombs apparently.
Many good points here. I would also say that vegan is not the only filter for my purchasing decisions. I try to buy almost everything second hand. I will not buy items produced in countries ruled by authoritarian regimes (which rules out an awful lot), for example no amount of sustainable accreditation is going to persuade me to buy a product made in china since there is no chance of meaningful accountability there. -

Well, i tried, but i failed.
Both local bike shops were still closed at midday and i had to catch a train. It's annoying because both had lights on and people inside when i called, but no one was answering the door. But, if you get stuck you could contact these one of these places:

Sorry to have raised hopes.

Hi Drew
I just imported these from the US for my dream gravel build. They are (eye-popping) purple, PM and short pull.I have a wonky heel kick and i have realised that if i fit them i am going to spend most of my time kicking the rear one because the caliper is quite wide (i've nearly kicked a spyre to death and they have a lower profile). I am a bit gutted.
They cost me £420 including shipping and duties. Ideally i'd like to cover my costs, but will listen to offers.
Thanks
Rich

I use money and my purchasing decisions to support basic human rights. I am not anti-chinese, but i am anti-authoritarian. I believe we all have a responsibility to stand up for people who have no voice.
The CCP has unquestionably raised the living standards and life prospects for the majority of the country's population, but there have been, and are some, terrible abuses of power along the way.
Obviously, the wealth that we enjoy in Europe now was built on the back of ruthless exploitation of people in poor countries over the last few centuries. There has never been a more ruthless bunch of gangsters than the British East India Company - who got legitimized and became empire. I am not a jingoist, blind to the awful debilitating impact of imperialism. During ww2 Winston Churchill made decisions about army food supplies that created famine and mass starvation in what was British India. The man was a massive racist even by the standards of a very racist time.
I am not seeking to enter into a competition about who has done worse things when. What i am trying to do is highlight bad things happening now - and avoid endorsing them through my purchasing decisions.
I haven't had a recent head injury. I've had several in the past. I don't much care for your tone in this regard.
