have you thought about filing out the brake block mounts on the calipers a bit? if you only need a couple of mm extra that could be an option...?
Yeah thats what the guy that I brought the frame of done, bit of a bodge though, which would be fine if I was keeping it but as I intend to sell it on I'd like to do a pucker job.
Digger it's a bit more than I wanted to spend but thanks for the suggestion.

I want to fit a lever on the top of my drops like on the rather gorgeous Condor Potenza http://www.condorcycles.com/potenza.html amongst many others.
My question is what levers fit? I have tried a Tektro lever and an old MX style BMX lever but neither fit the diameter of the bar.
