Thats what I'm thinking Joe there can't be hardly any people that need a 26" frame and even if they do will they want a black and green Gazelle AB frame? It does look nice imo but I could have it for years waiting for the right buyer to come along, but that said it seems such a shame to cut it up.
I had read your thread already VV and I do still have some things to try but ultimately I just want to sell this on too redeem some of the money it cost me in the first place. Ta for your input.

Yeah I tried boiling water but tried to avoid getting it near the post, I was trying to only get the seat tube hot to avoid the post expanding too. I'm thinking that perhaps it'll be better to go the other way and to make it very cold as the alloy should contract smaller than the steel right?
BTW it appears to be jammed in rather than "rusted in". I've oped up the ears and theres plenty of room around and it all looks good.
The thing with selling it as it is is that it is a 26" frame with a stuck seatpost, I don't think I'm going to have people queuing round the block for that. Where as a C Record seatpost in not perfect condition should see £50 - £70 on Ebay, forks £20'ish and SL H/S £10. So maybe £100 all in...what do you reckon I'll get for the lot as it is?

Just acquired a bike which I stripped for the parts but the remianing frame has the seatpost stuck in it. The post happens to be a rather nice Campag C Record aero and the frame a quite nice although very large 66cm (thats right 66cm or 26"!) Gazelle 531 Champion Mondial AB.
I've tried a few various methods to get it out but in honesty I think I will be inevitably defeated. So my options are:
Dissolve the post and have the fame to sell
Cut the seatpost out and have the forks, post and Stonglight headset to sell.
Sell the whole lot as it is for someone else to try.I think the post will be worth more and sell easier than the very large frame personally & the 531 forks with a very long steerer tube, but what a shame and waste to destroy a decent frame in such good useable condition.
What do you reckon?

Right he is selling the frame, fork and dura ace bottom bracket only. He said that he will reluctantly accept £120 posted. The bike was originally equipped with an entire dura ace set up and he said that he replaced his old Cromor frame with this Aelle because it is a much stiffer, sharper ride with only about 100-200 gram weight penalty.

Old and busted = 'Gorgeous baby blue'
New hotness = 'Pretty in pink'lol - hardly!
JonoM - it's funny what you say about Concorde as people do seem to underrate them imo. Personally I would say they are of better quality than Gazelle with their Italian heritage, but each to their own I suppose and of course you are entitled to your opinion, just probably made it harder for me to sell this for my mate :)
That said I did sell a tatty Concorde frame for £150 myself and a very nice complete bike for £350 recently. So it seems that some people are aware of their quality.
Anyway with its hipster 'pretty in pink' paintjob, the new gorgeous baby blue, and blinging chrome I'm sure that someone on here will make a good offer, especially in this condition. If not it'll reluctantly be off to Ebay.

Extra large frames do seem to go for less as the market is that much smaller, seems like there are quite a few on offer atm though mate.
