As photos this is an old tripple groupset ( 52 - 42 - 30) with original derailleur, cranks (170mm) and brifters. Outer and inner front chain ring have been replaced. Also included are brakes but only one of these is the original as it was replaced. Can be picked up from Russell Square / Lewes or posted for extra. Has been off the bike for ~6 years since an upgrade to 105 O.N.O £110

The Brompton is more spongey and suspension like, the other is stiffer and makes the bike more responsive as there’s less flex in the rear end

I'd put a replacement suspension/dampner block high up the list for stiffer ride, the Matumura Kohki Scrowave one would compliment that colour scheme @Rhobbs sells them in his shop

I have some time on my hands and my chain and chainset are long past their best, it's an old model so I understand I need to replace the BB to use the new chain rings. I made this list of things I need to replace, but as a Brompton newb I want to check I've not missed a part and won't end up with a bike in pieces missing the one thing i need to put it all back together again...

31180 - New spider crankset
31207 - New BB, option to pick Kuosac or Ti part but Ti part needs additional work to frame to fit Ti, a good weight saver given that the new bb is heavier than the older (pre 2007) one
13748 - Chain
40454 - Rear sprocket for 3 speed SRA hub
13755 - Chain tensioner replacement wheels ?

For balance I'd say I've used their Dalston shop for fitting various parts and upgrades I've purchased on here and they've never been anything less than excellent (and way cheaper than other London brompton mechs in my part of town)

😍 what would be the cost on one of those if you had a M3 with ti post and saddle to build from. I have schwalbe ones on my road, how robust are they to the horrors of urban riding?

Brommie bits clear out in main classifieds I have used pair of hubs rear is 3 spd sfr and some MKS Sylvan pedals. Also looking for home is seat post and pentaclip now I've switched to fancy Ti. If i had a frame kicking around i'd start building a second!
