if you mean do i hang out looking hip , playing polo and going on alley catsd - i'm afraid not - if that's what you mean by " something you don't actually partake in" if you mean 100 mile plus a week over the pennines on one fixed cog (with no lock ring!), then yes actually it's something i've been doing for years.
i've done near 100 fixed conversions from full strip and pain resto rebuilds to quick rear wheel conversions
polo style just refers to the handlebars - not being sold as a polo bike as no doubt for some reason unknown to me it won't be right oor polo.
suicide hub? i've ridden loads on my track hub with no lock ring with no problems - i've never ever had a suicide hub go suicidal on me or had any complaints on the conversions i've done - i 'm aware it's not the preference
- i'd like to get a track hub on there - if anyone wants a fixed/fixed track hub planet X 'track style' wheel i've built up = - then i can add that to the bike ( i have front as well if required) - but it's not going to keep the cost down, prorbably lookng at 80 a piece

cornering is scary - there's not the feedback you expect - so you need to lean out like a racing sidecar passenger or yaughtsman - but once you've got the skills you can do it. your inside leg is down which is weird and also when you're on camer you're leaning left and your mind says "better not turn right" so even though you don't want to it's like the kerb pulls you in magnetically. someone who has never riden any bike at all in their lives will handle this a lot better at first.
it's been raced at the isle man a few times.
the hub (diff) is is fixed/ free it currently has a 6 speed freewheel on and triple on the front -

wow first time on to sell something and already i'm feeling the love. - why do you feel the need to hate?
i buy and sell bikes on ebay from time to time- no secrets or appologies. it's 'yellowsweeptwo' on ebay - everyone is free to have a look at everything i've bought and sold many "brookes sadles"
luckily everything i buy off there is perfect and brought to my door and then a man comes and boxes it up for (the same guy that's done all the skilled work on it) and takes it away - no risk, no travel, no knowledge, no tools, and certainly not loads and loads of invested time sourcing bits and boxes at all.
it's a known item put together and sent by someone who knows what they're doing - there is a list of steel wheeled, crashed, seized lemon as long as my arm that i've done 40 mile round trips to pick up.
if it's easy - do it yourself (ps. here's a tip - a bike's value is not dictated by how many gears it's got on -)
actually the precedent i followed was ebay number: 280344474547
gold star for anyone who can tell me where they've seen it before ???
THAT SAID ANY SENSIBILE OFFERS TAKEN AS I MIGHT HAVE STARTED IT A BIT HIGH.

it has a fixed wheel option - only available on the rarer differential equipped models (not flip flop hub so much as a flip flop diff)- chain tension is taken up by a non concentric BB carrier - like a tandem.
yes DOV - it's bl**dy scary until you deprogram your two wheel riding inituion - makes you realise how much you unconsiously rely on leaning a noraml bike - beginners always end up in the kerb due to the camber
skids - yes in fixed wheel mode -
trackstands - haha ha-
wheelie - i guess soyes the one wheeler and conversion i saw - this was also on ebay - but never made the reserve - the asking price is the lower end of the 450 to 550 estimate given to me by members of the british trike association.

that chip in the chainrig is quite minimal i 've ridden bike with fully missing teeth and no problems - particularly if the chainline is straight.
re: the tyres. those are ma3 rims 15mm internal width - should be fine with 23 mm tyres - bit old school training touring rim (it's a 'silver' - unanodised ma40) pump it up and have a look. or maybe some 28mm tyres. i'm 99% sure you know this but sheldon browns site has a tyre / internal width matirx on there showing ideal tyres to widths. i think the fashion for running thinner rims with wider tyres can make the old stuff look wrong when technically it's more right. if blown up the wall is not tocuhing the ground and the cross section of the tyre is a nice semi circle it's going to be alright. i've just sold some ma40s that has 700x23 - and they looked fine once pumped up.
here's a few i've done
