Anyone interested in this? Better than a surly grappler IMO. Looking for £220 - based in Macclesfield so can post for £50 or figure out a Manchester meet.
It’s a great bike but just always a bit surplus to requirement for me and was most recently a commuter, which is a waste.
Included in the sale is:
F+F, bb, headset Truvativ Crankset, sram level brakes and the stock wheels and tyres which are all in solid condition. Frame has a few small paint chips/usual bikepacking cable rub but no dents and never really used in anger. Never crashed. Mech hanger but scruffy from the surly singulator but no thread issues - slap some paint on it maybe.
Not included - stem, bars, saddle, accessories, pedals, SS Cog, chain.
It’s a great bike and I prefer the ride to my karate monkey when it’s loaded, but it won’t take a 27.5 plus tyre which I’m pretty committed to now. Slap a mech, cassette and cockpit on and you’ll be away.

I’ve done a bit of collection rationalising recently, and want some space so having a bit of a clear out. I’m in Macclesfield just outside Manchester so can meet nearby, I’m in Manc a couple of times a week or happy to sort posting - assume £25 for wheels and £50 for frame.
First up - size medium 2023 karate monkey in good condition. Has a couple of small paint knicks (chain suck and a small one on seatstay) I’ve sealed with polyurethane varnish. No dents, never crashed or even ridden much in anger. Headtube had a bit of cablerub that’s dulled the paint but not rubbed through. This has been surplus to requirements so mostly sat around - won’t come with the stem or the BB or cages, sorry. If you want some SRAM NX cranks and a BB bunging in I’ll do that for free. £550
Surly sunrise bars - came off my Lowside, as new. sold
Hunt 29” race XC wheels - done about 300 miles, tyres have another summer left in them so consider them freebies. They’re 6 bolt and an HG free hub. Gave them a retention recently. Won’t come with the cassette or discs. £200.

Heya all,
I think I’d like to part with my 51 spa cycles steel tourer - it’s a lovely bike but just not getting the use it should.
Bought the frame last year in really really good condition and built up with all new parts to a touring spec - ryde sputnik rims on deore hubs, all new Deore m6000 10 speed with micro shift bar end shifting. Clears a 50c on the front and 47c on the rear. It’s done about 300 miles round Brecon and Manchester to Abersoch.
Pics here from a couple of trips and from when I was building it, the sale DOESNT INCLUDE the saddle, pedals, racks Or the bags or lights.
No issues at all really - the decals aren’t perfect because they’re were just vinyl cut and not under the clear coat.
Sizing chart is here https://www.spacycles.co.uk/smsimg/uploads/touringgeometry.jpg
I’d like £450 for it - which given the condition of the frame is basically the parts free. In Manchester - happy to post for £45, have a couple of bike boxes and dropout protectors. If it’s not for anyone I’ll pop it on eBay or maybe convert it to a more spritely road set up.

Hi all,
I’ve been slowly doing up a Raleigh Pioneer Trail (the lugged one with pannier eyelets from 1995, in battleship grey, internal cable routing in top tube) with old Deore bits I had around - I’ve cold set it to 135, serviced everything etc and I’ve just found a crack in the head tube :( not the most exciting bike but kind of had my heart set on it and it’s got lovely geo. Does anyone have one they’d be willing to sell? I’m not sure how they sold them sizing wise but I want the one that’s 21” c-t-t.
Totally open to the burgundy version (lugged) too or the lugged one without pannier eyelets (pioneer classic maybe?) if you can confirm it’s got big clearances too.
Alternatively - any other exciting mid 90s hybrid frames with big clearance (the Raleigh can take at least a 45c) anyone had - Trek 700? Marin Stinson? I’m not afraid of cold setting a 130 to a 135 - I just want nice geo and either lugs or pretty welds :)
Cheers - I’m up north so would ideal want f+f posted but happy to sort something.

Hi all,
Long (long!) time no post.
Is anyone interested in a basically complete one of these
https://www.bricklanebikes.co.uk/blb-hitchhiker-adventure-bike-650b-hydraulic-gravel-beast
in medium. Ridden about 100 miles tops.
Upgraded to tubeless with Schwalbe G-One speed tyres (they've had less than 50 miles on them).
It won't have saddle, pedals or grips, but everything else is good to go per the link above. If you're coming to pick it up and want to ride it away I can bung on some scruffy saddle and pedals to get you home.
Bike was £1199 and about £120 odd in tyre shenanigans so am looking for £800 shipped in UK, £750 if you'll pick it up from me in Manchester.
Only selling because my back is goosed and I'm having to give up on horizontal top tubes, otherwise it's a really nice bike with plenty of options. Paintwork is entirely unscathed.
EDIT - PICS Attached, 'scuse the mess :)
