Was in there a few weeks back to buy some hubs. Was umming and aahing (as you do) about whether i could afford them, asked the owner straigh up to knock some cash off and for 15 quid less, they were mine. Was so chuffed I went back and built my new wheelset there. The service is awesome.

What price are you asking - if it hasn't already gone..

I reckon Ortofon are def one of market leaders, but I'm coming from a dj point of view - not that I've mixed vinyl for a few years! I'm sure you've checked out here http://www.ortofon.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=190&Itemid=57 the three types create different depths and warmths of sound as the moving parts work in a different way, bit like a microphone. I'm getting a bit geeky here now so I'll shut up....

Id be a bit careful going for dj specific stylus' as they're built to be used heavily and can damage older vinyl. Hifi specific needles may not last as long but can be a bit more forgiving.

I thought the bird in the video was actually going to do those chaps a favour and cremate them...
