i'm reposting my own bike. fenders are now on it. i love this bike. this basket is absolutely enormous and completely solid. i load it with 40 lbs of groceries regularly. takes it like a champ.

The car door was just an example. But you all make good points. I'll consider a longer stem and Keith Richards tears from here on forward when trying to put the wrong bars on the wrong bike and realizing it rides like shit.

nope i just know what bikes with steeper head angles and tall swept back bars ride like. at first you're loving it, going slow... and then you speed up and it feels kinda sketchy but you deal with it thinking oh it's just relaxed, i like it.... and then you try to climb a hill and it sucks.... but you deal with it.... and then a car door opens and you try to turn quickly and you realize that you can't get your weight into the turn effectively in such short notice.... and then you change them back. rides like poo.

The 'deliberate flex' is a pro level thing. If you are not a pro, you will not notice it.
The flex is design to smooth out the very slight pedal speed variations of top kierin riders. If you are not putting out over 1800watts (and if you don't know whether you are or not, then your not) you will not notice any difference.

i will tell you that 75s are the stiffest crank i've been on. might be partly the frame i'm riding them on too. stiff fuckers.

i've had similar problems with old/out of date frames and new mechs. I've filed the tab on the frame to make it work.

needless to say she pulled the classic "i want a new bike for cheap move"..... spend 1/2 that amount on something overpriced.

um just nitpicking, but your b screw is too tight and your chain is too long.
beautiful job. after all that work, why no chainguard and guide? helpful.

needs a shimano zen chainring, then itl be perfect IMO ;)

Poor wording on my part there. The frames are lovely but there's always something in the bike that fucks it up a bit. like the upsidedown ahead on the mtb. Every bike on the website has one annoying thing that ruins it for me.
that was a concept and pretty well accepted as completely unrideable.
