Like Dylan said the frame would need to be stress relieved in an oven before and after repair for a proper job, but if it was a small repair on the end of a dropout you'd likely get away with a quick fix.
Still, if it is just a gear hanger damaged you can always get a die-grinder and carve a mount for a cheap replaceable gear hanger. I've done this on a few damaged frames and it works a charm.

Provisional dibs on the Edco and Tange headsets and second dibs on the Record headset if that falls through.
What's the crown race diameter on those sets please, ISO, JIS, Italian???
Cheers. And re: the Chris King headset, as forms said there is no chance of fitting it to a road frame, road cup diameter is 30.1mm vs BMX 32.7mm...

To keep feet warm and dry when it's really wet I use some carrier bags and a pair of large socks. Simply use my normal shoes, pull on a bag over the shoe and then the sock over the top of that. It's easy, cheap 3 pairs cost me £2 and it works perfect every time. As the sock goes above the bag on my shin it soaks the water and I never get wet from the top which was always a problem with my overshoes.

I'm looking for a small (steel) road frame & forks to build a bike as a holiday present for my other half. Specific reqs:
Road frame for a geared build.
Top tube cannot be more than 53cm. Similar Seat Tube dimensions if possible but anything up to 54 should work.
No dents or dings please but paint work does not matter. If you've got something which matches and needs a new home, let me know here or by PM. Cheers

This just in, my Dad had a heart attack due to Champix. He said he thought the nausea/pain/depression was a result of withdrawl but oh no as soon as he stopped taking the drugs he felt better immediately.
All drugs have some side-effects, the potential side-effects listed on a pack of Panadol would make you think twice about it, you just assume that it's a rare thing and that it's safe. Having done a bit of searching online this anti-smoking wonder-drug seems to have more than its share of horror stories. Steer clear I reckon.

Your fork does not look like it was filed... Have a look at the link above, there are lots of different crown race sizes, but usually 26.4mm or 27.0mm.
