I have for sale two skateboards:
(1) One Sector 9 Longboard Skateboard approx 97cms long.
This was purchased a few years ago but has probably been used less than thirty times and is in very good condition bar a few scratches on the paintwork/grip tape and on the kicktail end. Wheels, bearings and trucks are in very good condition. Perfect for carving up the tarmac this summer :-)
Would like £75 o.n.o
(2) Regular skateboard.
This skateboard has been well used and the deck is scratched all over. Trucks have taken a beating as have the wheels and bearings but still rolls well. Perfect to get you back on a board or to give to a kid.
£10/make me an offer.
I would prefer to meet in Central or North(ish) but paypal and postage (at cost) can be arranged if need be. Any questions or for more pics or anything just ask, will check back here. Dibs followed by PMs if interested please.
Thanks for looking :-)

Some latest news on this:
"A 64-year-old woman was crushed by a defective cement mixer travelling from the Olympic site in north London, a court has been told."
"Driver Lucian Damacus knew a front mirror, which enabled him to see directly in front of the vehicle, was missing and had no idea Ms Pontecorvo was in the road as he drove over her, the court heard."

"Judge Henry Blacksell QC said Parliament was trying to legislate against accidents. He said the death of 64-year-old Lucy Pontecorvo happened while she was breaking the Highway Code by dodging traffic in Holloway Road, and questioned whether driver Lucian Damacus can be held responsible."
"Damacus, who was described as shaking and shocked by police who arrived at the scene, was cleared of causing death by dangerous driving by the jury."

4pm Rider down Southbound on the Holloway Road outside Waitrose / The Coronet. Possibly male.
White small Fiat car stationary at scene so presumably involved but I didn't see what happened. RIder looked out cold.
Rider still receiving attention by ambulance crew at 4:15.
Sorry I have no more news, feel sick at the sight of injured people (especially cyclists).
Heal quick anonymous cycle dude.

Those of you interested in policing of protest I would highly reccomend watching yesterday's Panorama on People Power:

Some new footage but a bit of a rehash of old stories if you've been following the g20/climate camp coverage...

That's terrifying. They stop 230 cars, and almost a quarter have no insurance? Shit a brick. That illustrates the scale of the problem! People are aware that the chances of being caught are slim (they're right), so they're willing to chance it. And 15 people being arrested? That's most likely to be a bit of drugs found in the car, a knife or something, driving whilst disqualified, drink driving, or being wanted on a warrant.
I've seen them doing this quite a few times on a red route-road in SW London and they use a number-plate recognition van about 200 metres up from the road block in a part of the road where you can't avoid passing the block once you've past the van. They then only stop cars that get flagged up on their system which will be for reasons such as insurance, MOT, outstanding fines or outstanding arrest warrants against the owners. I would imagine the above operation is very similar so this isn't a representative random stop but a targetted stop against suspect cars.

****SOLD****
Tamrac Explorer 2 SLR Camera Bag
This is as new and was a gift which has been waiting to be used in my house for a while but seeing as I haven't even got a camera worthy of its finery and have no cash for anything (let alone a new camera) I have decided to sell it. Still has the tags on and everything.
A quick search online shows me these babies are on sale in your local online retailer for between £20 and £35 but this one can be yours for the bargainous price of £15 personally delivered to your central london work place, reasonably-central residential location or somewhere of mutual convenience.
Will post if I can't find a buyer in London so put your requests in if you could be interested in that.
Check the official site for full details of bag: http://www.tamrac.com/5502.htm
Also look at this wonderful photo of the actual item you will receive:
Thanks all.

Another rider down:
New user so can't put up a new thread but there was an accident on Elephant and Castle today, when I cycled passed at 16:30ish there was an HGV stopped with one of those blue crime-scene tents by the middle-wheels on the inside of the lorry turning left off the roundabout onto the A3 Northbound.... almost certainly a cyclist (no motorbike on ground that I could see) and i'd hazard a guess that it was, at best, a pretty serious accident given that the whole roundabout and many approaches was shut down and a lot of cops....
:-(
Teee - £40 is probably (just) enough to keep me from putting it on the 'bay but I would like to hold out a day or so to see if I get a bit more interest - I'll PM over the weekend - thanks for the interest.
Provisional Dibs received for the regular skateboard via PM.
