This was a waste of time in 2001 and is a waste of space in 2012!
I have two numark tt100's and a 1210 (which needs fixing) for sale, sennehiser HD 25 SP headphones, and a load of vinyl from original pressing of blue monday to awful commercial trance, loads of indie band 45s to thrash and hip hop. All this stuff got minimal use but has been sitting around for a long time, so coming and looking is a must.
Prices are around £75 for the 1210 and £100 for the pair of numarks, £50 for the headphones, £100 for trhe job lot of vinyl, actually I don't realy know how to go about this?!
Thanks

Hi All!
I need some bits to finish a build.Chainrings, 5 arm, for an octlink crank if it gives you any clues about the bcd: but it is a mtb crank not a road one. preferably looking for a 42/32 combo in black.
I also need a rear wheel. Can anyone do a quality rear rim brake 26" wheel in vgc for around £20? I have a 717 disc rim for part exchange. It needs also to take a 9spd block (and my weight). ideally it would be something like a 317/717 32h on lx or xt in silver. Something like this is on ebay right now but would prefer not to go through ebay.
Also some slicks. Conti contacts or Spesh armadillos would be preferable, in good condition between 1"-1.5".
Thank you in advance!

fixwheel1 (4) by biggerbenbella, on Flickrthose aren't poos they are bits of moss that have fallen of the roof!
nice wheels components in excellent condition (smooth cartridge bearings no braking wear) though could do with trueing.
£70?also I have a nicely wrapped specialised bar complete with brake levers from the Langster I bought here last week. These I don't think are the tektro levers from past models, they don't seem quite as nice but as a whole this is a nice set up.
20?se5
plus if anyone will let me use their bench vice in the camberwell area get in contact, I have a very stuck bottom bracket! -
For sale my loved but little used Salsa frame and forks, including cane creek s3 headset.
The largest size of the now outdated muted gold colour, definitely nicer than the 2011 ones with the non-straight fork blades. This has horizontal dropouts and a mech hanger and is in good condition. The photos show the scratches I could find, it needs a clean too. The black mark on the headtube started to wipe off, it isn't a dirty big scratch!
I'm looking for £200. I also have the long drop caliper brakes you'll need and guards and bars, all in the photos for sale. 25 for the brakes, 15 for the guards, 10 for the bars. I need the other bits.

according to sheldon (r.i.p) any 6/7 spd shimano hyperglide freehub will work apart from ones from very very early hubs that don't have that bulge on their right side just before the spoke flange. just to be nerdy, 8/9 spd freehubs and i asssume 10spd as well, are also compatible but you'd have to redish the wheel.
I have a fair amount of stuff for swapsies if you find something but am not expecting to pay very much for this. (a brand new whole hub which i can use the freehub off, would only be 20ish quid).

Hello!
Desperate for a freehub to make the bike i have found for a mate work, it's the kind of thing that you might find in a skip, but if anyone knows of or has: a wheel with one of these hubs, one of these hubs, one of these freehubs, or a any of the former that would work, please let me know.
And no, we can't persuade my mate to ss the bike.
Cheers! Tom

Dear Everybody,
Yes these pimptastic wheels are very expensive, I am looking fo rthe nearest offer to 900 pounds. Yes they should be raced on, but from other have heard these are very strong, the point zipp make is that they are a one wheel for everything affair. I would also suggest that they'd be great for cyclocross.
I am Camberwell by the way, and of course if they go for the money I am asking lfgss will get tipped.
Best,
Tom

I bought these thinking I was going to race in 2009 and ended up not riding at all. They have been sitting in the cupboard since I bought them from evans that winter. They sold them off a specialized tarmac which came with them but which a customer didn't want, I especially liked them (having decided to go for 404s) because these had the nicest versions of the decals I had seen. So in effect they are third hand now, but i bought them before they had been ridden at all. I fitted a cassette and tyres and rode them up my road when i got home less than 200 metres , then took them off the bike. I have some inner tubes for them which you can have and the zipp valve extenders in their packet. There are no skewers or bags. They are shimano/sram fitment.
They are beautiful, wheels, and by all accounts, excellent at what they do. for example see the bikeradar review.

I have been reading this (and posting incomprehensible scrawls) and have finally done a job on my langsetr headset. Getting the cups out was very difficult- had to ram various things into the splays of the headset tool to get purchase. I also, before i had read the post, been under the mistaken impression bearings were integrated and tried to 'pop' what i though was a cartridge out by levering over the top/under neath the fluted bit of the head tube wihich has damaged it. I was lucky to find a set of cartridge bearings in my tool box that then sat in the frame (no need for cups, cartridges just snug in on the 'shelf' in the headtube) and put the split insert and the top bit (see spud's first post) and then the spacers and it is a bit crunchy if you over do the preload (i think the bearings i found weren't perfect to begin with) but should work OK. Thanks for this post, really helped! cheers

i am having the same problem, the above though does give an accurate description though, as i look into the headtube what is the black thing with tiny drilled holes that seems to be glued (!) below the headset at the top, and above at the bottom (of the headtube). It doesn't seem like cups as cups come all the way to the edge of the headtube. Plus i am confused about the third poster's recommendation of a 1" not 1 1/8" headset as replacement.
gios asked...
The 1210 has 2 problems both i think are easily fixable: first the hinges at the back are lost. Not a big deal. Second the phono cable has a connection problem, also an easy fix I imagine, if you wiggle the wire where it enter the bottom of the body of the component the sound quality varies I guess it needs reconnecting more securely.
I am in camberwell, come round and look at vinyl etc but i have a rubbish pic of some of the electro clash vinyl here (tries to insert image):
if you could please email me at lunis46@yahoo.com and if you come to look PLEASE be polite and not late. I'm sorry to have to ask.
