I have the first week of August to ride setting out in London ending in Oban where I am to meet my gf for a Scottish tour. I was hoping to do as much off road riding as possible, go through wales and am happy to getting trains to hotspots doing loops along the way and missing out ugly stretches. I wondered if there were any strong interesting riders who wanted to join?

She hopes to take part in the cx training evening tonight and we have not arranged to get some tyres for her bike which is an mtb (with 26" wheels) but which currently has slicks on it. Anyone around peckham or where the training takes place that we can borrow some tyres form?

To my horror last night I read the installation instructions for hollow tech bbs. I need to put sleeves on my exisiting bb and replace the bbs I have trashed already by not putting the sleeves on and getting the bikes thoroughly drenched over the last 2 years.

in total 2 sleeves and 2 whole BBs with sleeves in good condition.

One or both of these might be missing the plate screws.

Old sizing bar and stem. Cinelli Vai bar v. wide, great for cx build on the cheap. Stem is bbb, nicely made 120mm. £7 each.

Wanted: either a pair of slicks around 1.25-1.5 for 26" wheels or just a single 1.5 one. Preferably free please!

£10: from a langster, alex r500 (i think) rims, no name hubs and a freewheel and spoke. Rims a way through the lives of their sidewalls, hubs need new bearings, neither wheel is true. Still, i think the freewheel is OK!

1 Pair of altura rain-proof overshoes, these are just a shell, no neoprene or fleecey bits, have a zip and a elasticated velcro cross strap. XL but not quite big enough for my size 13s £5
1 Pair of 'pro' shimano race overshoes, very tight and aero and waterproof but again not insulated (though both pair make a difference to how warm your feet are). XL again. £5

1 Tiagra road chainset less good condition, some increased signs of wear on the teeth. Neither have bald patches of wear like some second hand cranks, neither come with BBs but are both shimano-type HT2. £35
