i had the pleasure of riding to work today for 7 o'clock this morning.
freezing weather, daylight just brightening the place up and a whole lot less crazy fuckers on the road.without my cycle to and from work and some rides chucked in for fun i'm sure i'd be a whole lot less happy with the world.
in the words of queen 'i want to ride my bicycle'.

from the unipack ebay listinghttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Single-Speed-F...d=p3286.c0.m14
Flip Flop dual rear hub (in a very fetching gold finish) gives you the option of fixed gear, if you are feeling keen, and don't like to put your feet on the ground at traffic lights, or a single speed freewheel if you don't like having pedals hit you in the back of the leg when you slow down.
anyone else having troubles with their pedals?
makes you wonder. -
if he has any vinyl then these are dope presents. i know as i just got some as a wedding gift and can now proudly display some special records.

if he doesn't have any vinyl then this doesn't really help. -

the video on the tfl website.
a bit obvious but quite intresting to see how little the drivers see and how big there blind spots are when cornering.
i've been pretty much soaking all week cycling about town. it has rained a hell of a lot.
what keeps me smiling is this brilliant statistic from tfl.
"It's drier than you think - if you ride year round, you're likely to get caught in rain only eight times. February and March are two of the driest months."
i reckon i've got wet at least 8 times this week.
should be dry for the next foreseeable future.
