Have you tried a screw together style BB in your Evo? Seemed to solve any creaky issues on mine.

These haven't done a great deal, one summer last year before I swapped them out for 30mm tyres for this summer. Unfortunately I decided to use pirelli sealant with them, so will need a clean if it bothers you.
