Stoke Newington High st is terrible; full of poor people with sour expressions. It's such a relief to turn on to Church st and see the happy smiling Yuppies and their delightful children coming out of Fresh and Wild.

worst piece of road (not the one with the most bumps...) is the bit in rotherhithe tunnel...went through on a sunday morning thinking...hhmmm..I reckon I can do it...(usually go tower) so did the stupid...and...really nice swoop at the start to really get winding...very smooth...and was able to almost hold my breath/low breathe and outrun/overtake cars till about two thirds in....and with that first lung full of black air...eeep...I got onto the ramp on the other side and pumped like death to the top....and then had to stop...my eyes were streaming, lungs were screaming...and I would advise anyone/everyone...never to do it....so, so , so grim....
though at least I know now...cats and curiousity...ahem.

for chrome...try 'autosol' white paste (sounds like it looks like the other one above)....in tubes gold and black ...use soft cotton, on an old t shirt is ace, tear a strip...squirt on 1'' strip of metal polish, if you use the strip as a buffer...ie drag it back wards and forwards with both hands, you greatly increase the friction and pressure...it's loads quicker than rubbing with your finger....
it's also great on ally, copper, brass...etcwith regard to rust...if it hasn't broken through and is more of a stain...then use t-cut...it's paint restorer for cars though can greatly reduce it looking like a trawler...if it has broken the surface then you can remove all but the bobble of rust...
never use a pot scourer on anything...they really fuck up paintwork and chrome and aluminium...

I know the pedals and seat are hideous...=D...ofmega headset, mavic wheels, 105 levers, simplex gears...weinmann brakes. and it isn't that heavy...
my mate wants to get a frame to fix...and I can sell him the frame...and I know someone else that wants the wheels...
whats the general consensus...break it or sell it whole?

joined cause I found a joe waugh frame round the corner from my moms...and I live 130 miles away...coincidence or fate?....anyway...if anyone has any relevent info(it's white, 80's, 653) ...that would be lovely....
