Cheers DC, all sorted now - got a gipiemme bit in the end... same as this... http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7054/6933649697_9d2240d91c_m.jpg from a shop down the road...
Yes, that's it.
That's the original part. -

Yes. That was the year that Gazelle decided to give in the hands of a pro. They hired industrial designer Peter van der Veer to design parts and concept bikes. His first attempt was decals for the lightweight series.
iirc, the dash was designed to bring a speed element/illusion. Industrial designers are not always good bike designers and often have an odd taste.
But it was a pro's idea, so nobody questioned that design. -

Hi Ian,
By any chance, do you have a nice pair of clincher rims left, 36H?
I'm looking for a pair from around 1980, so Mavic Module, Wolber Gentleman or something like that.
The sides/brake surface should be as new, no brake marks and not machined, because it's for a track bike.
Ideally a pair of NOS rims. -

Hi,
I need some help from a person in UK, since an Ebay-seller is willing to post a pair of rims, but not to The Netherlands.
Can I have it sent to your (home) address and you forward it to me?
Of course, all expenses paid.
Cheers, DC.
