Making good progress now.
BB-set is biggest problem now: Italian thread, 70-P-120 axle.- Frame and fork ALAN Super Record Pista 57x57: ordered, will arrive this month, I hope
- Crank set Campagnolo Record 170mm 144mm Super Record ring 53T 3/32" I have on my Giant track bike now.
Ring may be replaced by 1/8", perhaps 52T or other
Maybe cranks will be replaced by same type in 165mm - BB-set: still looking around and bidding on sets, cups, spindles that may fit.
- Head set: Campagnolo Record Pista, comes with frame.
If not good, I will replace it with the Record Strada I already have - Wheels: Campagnolo Record HF 36H hubs, Mavic silver tubular rims, tied and soldered spokes.
Need to polish and re-grease.
Maybe I'll replace the rims for e.g. Super Champion (have) or Ambrosio Durex (I don't have) - Tubulars are on the wheels now, but not nice and not good.
Already bought 1 pc Vittoria Corsa CX via Ebay
Now biding on more. - Saddle: San Marco Rolls: have. Just try to "paint"the leather black.
- Seat post: Campagnolo Record 25.0mm comes with the frame
Pantographed Alan? Polish? - Stem: I have a Cinelli 1A 14cm, but pretty ugly and maybe too long, so I've already bought a NOS Cinelli 1A 12cm.
- Bars: I have a Cinelli 66-44.
Maybe I'n going to change for Cinelli track bars. - Pedals: just bought a pair udes Campagnolo Record Pista Superleggeri from another LFGSS member. Hope these are good enough
- Toeclips: I have Campagnolo, size L, in aluminium and steel
- Straps: I bought a pair of white Alfredo Binda's
- Chain: I have chains. Not decided what (prerefably Italian) chain suits this bike. Style, image, period late 70's early 80's. Regina? Where to get that?
I can always use a Miche or something else. - Sprocket: got several 14, 15, 17 in both 1/8" and 3/32" but Shimano doesn't go well with this set-up.
Maybe change to Campy. - Decals: have to order a set via Dutch ALAN importer or Cyclomundo
- Shoes: bought nice (but not very good) Vittoria's #43. Fit well.
Need to repair heel. - Shoe cleats: need T.A. J. Anquetil. Can buy from Mario Verhoeven's webshop
- Shorts, jersey, mitts, arm- and legwarmers: I've to search for it.
Wool, Acrylic, etc. Something like ALAN, Campagnolo, etc.
Unfortunately I've got to wear a modern helmet.
YES !!!
I've just closed the deal with Italy. I will buy the frame:
Frame Alan 57x57, fork Alan, headset Campagnolo Pista, seatpost Campagnolo 25.0mm pantographed Alan (?), chain.
Believe me, it's a good deal :-)Some cleaning and polishing to be done,
new decals,
see if I can paint the Roll's black again,
new chain,
search for BB-set 36x24T, 70-P-120,
and Campy Pista pedals,
and another Vittoria Corsa CX tubular,
and some minor things to be done.
Then it's DONE and I can ride it on the Velodrome! - Frame and fork ALAN Super Record Pista 57x57: ordered, will arrive this month, I hope

As far as I know (and I have the same opinion about this since 1979), Cornelo is the private label of a company named Henk Kokke Sport from Sint Willebrord, in the south of The Netherlands, near the Belgian border.
It seems that Kokke is in Etten-Leur now.
There is also a Belgian Website named http://www.cicli-cornelo.be/ , of a Belgian company, also based close to St. Willebrord. Site very outdated, 2001. Pretty vague.
Kokke / Cornelo: they don't do their own stuff. Just the labels (decals) are theirs. Goods imported from Belgium, Italia, Taiwan...It all doesn't mean that the bike are bad.
On the contrary, their reputation was always quite okay. A bit a Colnago spin-off, but not the original ofcourse.Nice story about Cornelo's history in Dutch:

You can try to translate it with Babelfish or Google. -
Wheels sold (or bought)
;-)
I've been in touch with the Colnago seller...seems like a nice guy and very happy to ship to the UK.
I thought it was a steel frame from the pic, but its actually an alloy Dream, which isn't what I want so I'm not going for it....but it is a bargain for someone!
Still nobody interested in a set of Campy track wheels for tubulars at Euro 100.-.
Including new tubulars.
Only local pick-up but within a couple of weeks I can do it for you if you're really interested. Maybe even a bit easier for "Fruit" ???
We'll glad to help you out for a few pints...http://link.marktplaats.nl/249778488
The Colnago is still available for Euro 750.-, but I guess the seller will accept a bit less as well.
The idiot placed his ad at a wrong section ;-)
I can't believe that it's still not gone. Beautiful frame, good parts, bad saddle, pictured from the wrong side, good price. -

I had one of these a couple of years ago and from the pics I would say the forks are very bent.
Also I snapped the chain side chainstay whils stomping up Hedsor Hill near Maidenhead. The trashed frame ended up in the middle of the village bonfire on the next Guy Fawkes night.
It was awsome when it ignited: Beams of white light radiating from the middle of the fire. The vicar thought ET had arrived....d.e p..
I also rode a Kirk several times.
I worked for a Japanese company in bike stuff and fishing tackle, based in Sakai near Osaka.
When I was there for business, I used the Kirk, the only frame that suited me.
One time I visited the HQ again and couldn't find "my" magnesiun Kirk anymore.
I asked around and found out that they needed the Magnesium material for the first prototype(s) XTR rear derailleurs. :-( -

this is the anwser from the seller
.............
there is definately no structural damage to the frame.
the rings and
bits the forks are held by seem to me to be perfectI looked at the bike
for a while today and didnt really see the bent fork thing, however
somebody reckons they are
he sounded like he knew what he was on
about
please come and have a look, check it out.... n16Quite easy to check if the seller co-operates.
Put a good fork in the headtube and measure the distance BB- front HB c-t-c.
Compare this with the Kirk geometry that you've looked up on the internet : http://www.kirk-bicycles.co.uk/Kirk-Facts.htm
A bit of work, but it gives you some kind of security (at least if the frame is bent or not). Of course, the fork rake has to be the same as Kirk's original. -

GRAB THIS !!!
Gazelle 60 cm Track bike (complete) for just Euro 150.- !!!!!
Contact the seller now and maybe it's yours.
Maybe he thinks that he can get more and waits for higher bids, but the requested price is just 150.-Small dent in the top tube and some small damages (scratches???).
Old team colors.
No, it's not mine! -
Teddy changed his mind about the wheels, so they are forsale again.
Chorus seatpost, dust caps and Black campag pedals also still forsale.
I'll take the black pedals if you can post them to .NL
If not, when are you going to put them on Ebay (then I guess that you have to post them also)?
Would be great if you could help. -

Check out the blog for more and coming..Djee-Djee's Flickr SetSame goes for me. Most parts I already have, but still some work to be done.

Started a project for a track bike some months ago.
My current Giant is too small and a need something that fits better.
The Giant is a mixture of "modern" (Giant F&F, seatpost, wheels, pedals, stem, saddle) and classic parts (cranks, bars, ...). Besides that, I have some old parts laying around for decaded.
Since classic track parts are still very competitive, don't wear out quickly and weight is not so much of an issue, I decided to go for a nice classic track bike.
Buying a new track frame or bike would be too easy and less fun. I hope to end up with something really nice. At the good part: the value will only increase during the years.I collected already several parts, besides the stuff I already had.
Still no idea what frame I will use. For sure it must be nice. Can be Italian, but also Dutch or English (Raleigh) is possible. As long as the sizes are correct. At the moment, I seriously consider this frame, but I need to negotiate about the price.
Project can be followed here:

Nice Colnago, just a bit too small. Otherwise it would become mine.
Attractive price as well.By the way: who is that bidder "unique seller" ?
Quite a funny name for a buyer...
Must be a "pro" who is looking for bargains and selling the stuff with good profit. There's also a nice set of Campy record wheels for tubular for just Euro 100.-
Local pick up only.
Still no bidders. -

A negative shim is called a reamer and costs a lot more than a shim or even seatpost.
(Adjustable) reamers become very handy when you didn't grease trhe seatpost before assembly into the frame and you cannot get it out anymore after 5 years of maintenance-neglicence.
