Selling my old Talera frame and bits as I’ve jumped onto a kona from the same era. This is pretty much ready to throw on some wheels and bars and you’re off.
- 20” frame - lots of scrapes and marks (mostly from previous owner!) - the worst of which is around the seatclamp where I assume the previous owner had a chain clanking around - see pic
- all cables and outers
- 3 x 8 speed rapid fire shifters, old acera mechs
- Avid single digit v brakes
- basic brake levers
- shimano triple chain set
- Scott seat post
- WTB volt saddle

Selling on behalf of a mate who left this with me when he moved abroad. Cash will be going to him minus a forum donation.
Bought during lockdown and apparently only used 3 times and I believe him! This thing is mint - all it needs is a bit of a dust! (Also just noticed a small tear in the bar tape from storage).
As far as I can see this is the same as the current bike but has better tyres on it (Hutchison Nitro).

I used to commute daily on this but after moving to Crystal Palace 2 years ago this has sat almost unused - fixed don’t go up hills it seems. It’s still a really light bike - I don’t have scales but somewhere around 8.5kg I’d say as you see it.
It’s in need of some love but works well as is (if the saddle’s at the right height for you 🙃)
- 56cm square Joe Waugh 80s / 90s road frame in Reynolds 531 competition. Blue sparkle with smoke effect. Paint is amazing in the light. Some sticker marks and touch ups from previous owner, some chips but I’d call it pattina.
- Ultegra front brake with unbranded short lever - works very well.
- wheels - rear open pro 36h on System Ex flip flop. 16t cog. Front is a beater Shimano Rs20 (I have a silver open pro w/ black goldtec I could chuck in for an extra £50 (or £90 with a matching rear)
- Tyres are conti gatorskin 25c, some life left in ‘em
- BLB Vera crankset with 46t chainring
- Deda zero seat post (stuck!)
- Very dry san Marco Regal saddle with chunks out of it
- cinelli stem w/ ritchey rizer bars (small bit of coke can shim but has worked well!)
- Pedals not included
